We ate here with friends after a day at the races at Gulfstream and all were disappointed. The food looked great but every dish on the table tasted flat. Corned beef was dry supported by absolutely tasteless cabbage. Burgers looked good but were dry. Sides, other than really good shoestring fries were also bland. Same results with everyone at our table. Desserts also were not up to par. I LOVE salted caramel but the pudding with salted caramel was way too sweet. Tasted more like eating out of a sugar bowl instead of any balanced flavors of caramel/vanilla/sugar. Service was slow and uncaring. They have a long beer list, but our waiter was more interested in trying to show his supposed knowledge of the beers instead of answering our questions. Plenty of restaurants in the area. You certainly will find better.

The Service sucks. We were waiting to be greeted for longer than 15m. Our server was cold and far from nice. Not going back.

Just popped into Yardhouse in Gulfstream for a Margarita, some sliders and a salad. I was greeted by my favorite wait person Nadia who is so genuinely attentive and pleasant. She makes my dining experience flawless. Good spot for burgers, beer and other viewing sports on multiple tv's.

Our server was horrible. We had to walk to the bar to get our drinks and then he never came back except every 20 minutes to ask if we needed anything. he dropped his tray by us and spilled the leftover drinks. Everyone has bad days but if you are our server do not forget about you're tables. Sometimes we are not all want to be servers or work in the resteraunt industry. I know I am not cut out for it and hats why I have not worked or applied.... Maybe our server shovel have realised that before his service today. Very disappointing for someone who has been going to the Yard House for along time...

This place is fun. Generally speaking, I prefer locally owned, hidden gems. But, I suppose this visit just confirmed that I'm a fan of YardHouse, from the SoBe location, to the Coral Gables location, to the Boca location, to this Gulfstream location. The service at this location renews my faith in quality service in South Florida. A friend and I decided to sit at the bar instead of wait for a table because just like any hot spot, or chain restaurant, it's pretty tough to find a place to sit. The bar area was perfectly fine because we were able to take in the good Saturday night vibe with the basketball game on tv and songs playing over the speakers that got me dancing off of my bar stool. James and Olivia (our bartenders) were the cherries on top of our fun night. They were top notch - their service was friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Always, always, refreshing to have good quality service to top off good food, good beer and good vibe. Will be back.

Great environment and great service. The food is exceptional and the price is fair. Not to mention they have the largest selection of beers on tap in all of south florida.

So before I begin, let me give you guys some back story on why I even came to Yard House. I've had this bookmarked for a while and been wanting to try it, but wasn't on the top of my list, you know. Until I got a little incentive! Remember the rant you read for the Long Horn on 49str? Well that rant also went to cooperate and they sent me a $60 gift card to use at any Darden restaurant, and the rest is history. Now the food I only came for the appetizers and also tried a few lunch items which is the reason I gave them a 3. Service was great and I would definitely return to try something else on their menu, which had LOTS of variety! Drinks: Lite Lemon Drop Martini- $10.50 I better be getting a martini made with love! Kettle one Vodka and ingredients mixed well. Didn't skimp on the liquor which is a pet peeve of mine. A+ on these peeps! Mojito- I'm Cuban, so the only ones a trust are the ones I make, however these were Berry Berry good caballero! Enough lime and mint to give you that party on your palette that you deserve from a mojito. My friend ordered about 3 so I think she was also pleased lol Appetizers: Fried Calamari- Not great. They weren't seasoned and had way too much breeding. Didn't have that seafood flavor I was looking for. The texture of the calamari though was just right, so they did cook them well at least. Disappointing :'( because I freakin love fried calamari man! Onion rings- I actually really liked these although my peeps did not. Everything about them was great! The breading used and the seasoning. The sauce was a little spicy but not crazy and the portion, well they were stacked tall! Slices of onion were just the right size and each one bigger than the next. If you like onion rings, get these! Lobster Artichoke Crab dip- Not fond of this kind of dip, too repugnant, but this was actually pretty good. Much better than the crap at Long Horn ( sorry got a flash back) served with pitta bread and tortilla chips. If you like cheesy dips get this I guess, it's pretty OK Guacamole- no way, but not surprising since this is a southern restaurant. They use those huge watery avocados, which is a big no no for guacamole. Sad Truffle Fries- Saved the best for last. These truffle fries are a must have. Perfect balance of truffle oil topped with Parmesan cheese and parsley. VERY delicious, I ate most of them lol. My favorite appetizer by far! Lunch items Didn't get them but tried them French Onion soup and Pizza- why my friend ordered this at a southern place I don't know lol. Soup wasn't cheesy enough and they didn't let it simmer enough. It was watery. Pizza was what my friend described as " the round frozen ones from a bag in middle school" ouch! Lololol Mac and Cheese- Bacon, chicken and mushrooms. Pretty good but very rich. One bite was good enough for me. Enjoy!

Great food! A must try is the black truffle cheeseburger amazing! No ketchup needed. Drinks- try the peachy Belgian, spicy rum or Jameson mules! Delish! Our waitress Natalie was super sweet and had amazing suggestions! Will return!

Great location in an outdoor mall. It's a relaxing atmosphere with great outdoor space. The night I went they had a band playing music across the mall. The food is great we had gumbo, thai chicken salad and a great big hamburger. All of the food was outstanding, the service was excellent. If I lived in Hallandale, I'd eat there every week.

Came here with my family on my Birthday 4/4 We're all pretty simple because we all work in the restaurant business, but right off the bat service was awkward & inconsistent, Starting with the bartender who took forever to make our drinks & then tried to ask us if we wanted to transfer our drinks to our check at the table after we paid it. Maybe if she was attentive to us she would've noticed. Our server was really non existent , no offers on another round of drinks nor waters she never came back to even check if we liked the food , just the initial check up .. My cousins burger was over cooked and my rice was ice cold. Otherwise we loved the Fried Calamari , the Lettuce wraps , the Lobster artichoke dip I could eat all day & we all enjoyed our tacos. It's a beautiful place , just wished the service was better.

This was only my second time coming time coming here in about four months, but my food was excellent! Delicious. My server was training so service was a little slow and I didn't have time for dessert. But when I come back I definitely want to try the brownie sundae!

The happy hour menu is cool, saved only by the sliders NO pun Intended. The drinks however, are weak. Sorry, but if you're not going during happy hour prepare to order double shots. And, if you're I am a lightweight. Best thing about this place is the location. You've got the Strikes Bowling alley which is SUPER TRENDY. And you can't forget the Casino.. a little primitive compared to Hard Rock, it'll do if you are on the East side of town

It was not bad. I had the porcini crusted halibut with great mashed potatoes and bockchoy. The halibut was overcooked so it was quite dry. Altough the sauce saved It. It was delicious!!! And a little bit later in the night I had the seared tuna and the salmon roll. It was so freaken good!!!! Highly recommend the salmon roll.

Love this place especially the Norwegian Salmon and Halibut porcini crusted!!! YUM! The service is usually excellent haven't had anything but good so far! Lots of choices for my dietary restrictions! Vegetarian entrees and many other great selections to choose from in a great atmosphere of Gulfstream Racetrack!

If it weren't for the novelty for drinking large amounts of alcohol in funny-shaped containers, I probably wouldn't come here. My friend loves the Yardhouse establishment but I wasn't impressed; maybe this one in Hallendale was on an off day. I ordered the Chicken Garlic Noodles and a Raspberry Cider during their happy hour, and instead got a pear cider and very mediocre and slightly too salty, buttery noodles. The waitress wasn't super attentive and I wasn't bothered enough to correct her on the wrong order of cider. I don't think this place is anything special, but I still enjoyed the experience and it's in a good location. For the price, I would go for the happy hour, but probably not for anything else.

Specials are great, service was mediocre. I sat at the bar, wasn't too busy, but I seemed to bother the bartender every time I needed something. I'm a server myself, and I'm not a particularly needy customer.

I was just going through some of my previous reviews and noticed that I promised to write an addendum to this after I returned to Yard House. Well, I've been back a bunch of times and mostly sat at the bar (mainly due to the fact that there are tons of beers on tap). The food is always very good and the beer is always cold and delicious! I work near Yard House so if I make plans to meet somebody after work I often suggest this place. I am thoroughly happy with Yard House and encourage all to go and check out the great food and beer menu.

It is an Ok place! The food is fairly good but the service it is very variable. I had already very good and bad experiences! When they are very full, the service can take a little bit longer! The best part about the place in my opinion is the environment: good music, casual and fun atmosphere. It is not one of the best places i have ever been but you surely can have a good time over there!

Me and my boyfriend came in for a late night dinner we were sat right away outside. We were greeted by a server (I won't give a name) who took our drink order then another server ran our drinks to us pretty speedy after we got our drinks we waited a really long time for the server to come back (which she never did) as we saw her frantically running around looking for a table who were guessing dined and ditched, we were patiently still waiting...finally another server, Nadia, came over and saved the day, food was good , service was good....but the beginning was rough hence my 3 stars

NPS = 4 No wow-factor. Actually a bit of a disappointment. Let me explain why. We came here during the Belmont Stakes so we could see the race and have some food at the same time. It was an extremely hot day where temperatures reached above 90 degrees in Broward County. The 6 of us (3 couples) sat in the corner, far left of the restaurant. All we wanted was some cold drinks, some good food, and some A/C to cool us down. Yard House only provided 66% of those things, along with a few other minor details that restaurants should not overlook. The A/C was not hitting our side of the table, so we were stuck sweating even more. As if that was not horrible enough, we decided to rough it out and just order some drinks to help with the hot air. The drinks came and they were delicious. I had a mint julep (probably should have ordered a Belmont Breeze) and it was pretty good. The right amount of sugar and the right amount of mint. I recommend ordering beers here, however. Their selection is impressive. Another nip pick: the waiter did not refill waters as they were being drank and it took them a while to bring out utensils. Therefore, our food was brought but we had to wait for the utensils to come out. The soups came out and the tomato bisque was also very good. However, another nip pick: they did not bring all the soups together and so some of our party was done with their soup before the rest of the gang. I must say the nachos were great and can feed a party of 6 fairly. The Korean pork belly tacos were mediocre and did not have much taste. I would recommend ordering bar food (wings, nachos, maybe even some mac-n-cheese) and staying away from wondering off into adventure. All in all it was kind of a disappointment because of the lack of A/C and the mediocre service. I wish I had better things to say.

We were visiting Gulfstream Park and decided to grab dinner here. We liked the outdoor seating and asked to sit there. It was comfortable and not too loud music wise. Our waiter was a very strange guy. He was nice and attentive, but kept saying things like "YEAH DUDE" and "OK THATS COOL MAN" to my husband....lol....it was very weird. Anyways, he explained the menu, and all of the food we received was delish. We got the lettuce wraps (yummy) and I got the avocado sandwich. I asked for no mayo because I HATE MAYO, and of course, it came with mayo . I ditched the bun since it was covered in mayo and just ate the sandwich. I don't even think my server noticed--. My husband got a burger and said it was delicious. We also ordered the brownie desert and it was soooo goooood. Overall, I believe I would come here again. It took a little while in between each course. Our waiter should also be re-trained and know he can't be calling people dude, and man, since most people would probably get mad (we thought it was funny, but strange?) just a tip.

Yard house has a great late night happy hour, discount food and beers!! The service for the most part good on a consistent basis . The food is great, chicken nachos are delicious it comes beans, cheese, moist chicken, sour cream , guacamole, red and green type of taco sauce on top. They have a good selection of burgers. And of course an amazing beer selection. This place does have me coming back

Pretty cool place. By far some of the best spinach dip I have ever tasted. I love the vegetarian options they have. My mom is vegetarian and its always hard to find food she can eat so this place is great because she has a wide menu to choose from. The tomato bisque soup was great and my turkey burger with sweet potato fries was on point it was so good however it was so big I couldn't finish it all (that's not a bad thing lol). The only problem is I think sometimes they are short staffed so it takes a really long time for your waiter to bring or pick up your check. However, my mom and I were well fed so I can't complain.

Always consistently good, and right mix of everything going on at Gulstream Park. Being the holiday GP was lite up very festive. We had the lettuce wrap appetizer, Baja Fish Tacos and Jambalaya. All were excellent.

Went here for a beer and appetizers last night and I've got mixed feelings about this place. Their tap selection is vast, but that's the charm of the chain craft beer restaurant. Looks like whatever is on tap is pretty steady, and there's a good mix of styles, including a handful of sours/lambics for the uninitiated. The beers are all served in the appropriate glassware and there are a range of pour sizes to choose from. Service staff are very friendly but undertrained, and the wait times are typical for a Friday night. Expect a nice table inside or out and a mixed atmosphere, as it's right by the casino building. If you're not well-versed on craft beer and need someone who is knowledgeable to guide you, you may do best asking the folks at the bar and not your waiter. Our waiter, Dre, had no real knowledge of the beer he was supposed to be selling. If I tell you I like stouts and porters and ask if there's something interesting or new on tap, DO NOT suggest an IPA and keep mentioning IPAs as "dark". Yes, they're strong. No, they're not dark. They're not even remotely the flavor profile I want when I ask about things that are dark, strong and malty. Whoever is beverage manager at this location needs to retrain his staff on beer knowledge. I don't care if you don't like beer-- if you're selling it, you absolutely need to know at least a little about it. Now, we got the guacamole and chips appetizer. This was also completely wrong: the ratio of ingredients was completely off and it had feta cheese in it. I get that avocados are pricey and that restaurants want to be unique, but don't mess with the classic stuff like this unless you call it something different on the menu. If I go here again, I'll try something different and see whether this was just a fluke.

Yard House is one of my favs for a casual night with friends. I love the ambiance. Great place to watch the game while eating some good food. They're beer list is amazing as well. Definitely give it a try.

This particular Yard House location is inside a shopping and casino area. It's actually pretty big considering that it's in the middle of a shopping center. They have plenty of outdoor seating (dining tables and couches). Their inside set up is like your typical YH. Tons of seats at the bar, high tables, dining tables, and booths. They have plenty of TVs scattered throughout the inside so you can always keep an eye on your favorite sports team playing. So why the 3 stars? Well, I've been to my fair share of YH restaurants and I'd have to say that this place has particularly slow service. I came here with my girl friends for some post-exam celebrations on a Tuesday afternoon during their happy hour. Now, the YHs I've been to back in California are always jammed packed with patrons during happy hour (you had to get there right at 3 or you'll be doomed with waiting forever for a table anywhere), and the wait staff at those locations were always quick, efficient, and friendly. Here, however, was like the complete opposite. Our server was very detached and impatient. Overall service was slow, even though they had a lack of happy hour patrons there. But poor service aside, my experience here was pleasant. The beer selection was a little different than what I'm used to, and they had actually ran out of a couple beers I wanted to sample. But the drinks that I did have were great. I started my meal off with a Purple Haze shorty then got a taste of their Rogue Brown Hazelnut Nectar and their Left Hand Milk Stout (or something like that, I can't quite remember the exact name). If you can't choose which beer to go with, they allow two tastes per order you make, so taste away! Anyway, I ended up liking the milk stout and ordered a half yard of that (go big or go home when at YH, right?). I also had one of their beer floats. Yes, you read correctly. THEY HAVE BEER FLOATS! On the menu, they give you a choice between their Young's Double Chocolate Stout with vanilla ice cream or their Raspberry Framboise with vanilla ice cream. But considering I love their Young Berry Chocolate blend (yes, they blend the stout and the framboise and it tastes like chocolate covered berries), I had them blend the beers for my float. The food here was on par for what I was expecting. The onion ring tower is an impressive site, and the crispy rings with their chipotle ranch is a definite winner. Truffle fries are a must have, and for $4.95, you get a pretty hefty amount to enjoy. My girl friends and I also ordered their Ahi Poke Stack (which was nice and refreshing) and their mac and cheese (so cheesy, so mushroom-y, so chicken-y, so yummy). Maybe I visited on one of their off days here, but I would still frequent this location while I'm in Florida. Definitely a great place for a group gathering. Bonus: they split checks!

I love this yard house location the best because it has outside seating and it's in the shade, so it's the perfect temperature. Miami is so beautiful and it's perfect to have a great quality meal outside with the beautiful weather. The food was good like always. I love their salads and they have a pretty good selection of healthy options. That's always nice to have that option. Especially when you travel a lot and continuously eat out at restaurants. They also have a huge selections of alcoholic beverages (they are a brewery). The staff at this location is really awesome, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxing meal.

Their happy hour is pure amazingness (is that even a word?)!! Most of the appetizers are between $4.50-$6. Great steal. And the bonus is that happy hour also happens from 10PM-closing on Sunday-Wed. Sometimes. I like a late night snack so I'll go with friends. One day I went in and my bf (25 y/o) forgot his license. He wanted a drink. The manager could not give him a drink for obvious reason, but told him the next time he came in -- the drink would be on the house. He HONORED that promise the next time we went! Thumbs up! Will be coming back.

Where to begin? ... Arrive after a walking out of American Pie down the street in Silks run with my friends from Canada in tow looking to watch some Hockey. We swing into this "SPORTS BAR" to catch a game grab a drink and some eats. MGR asks what we would like on TV and we ask for NHL games and Here is a Sportsbar that Has no NHL package ... OK located in one of the highest volume tourists from Canada area going and NO NHL Package? In fact only thing they had was network TV of ESPN or games on TBS or TNT... WEAK! Let me g back and its a large very nicely appointed bar with multiple beer options craft, bottled etc. Outside seating and this place is crowded everyone waiting for outside seats. etc. Bartender Lauren was very nice we got our beers then ordered two salads, and Steak Sandwich. Strike 2 32 mInutes from order to delivery of food.. WEAK! CAESAR hearts of romaine, parmesan crisps, croutons and egg free caesar available with: *seared ahi seared rare was actually very good with top quality ingredients. ROASTED TURKEY COBB applewood smoked bacon, tomatoes, egg, avocado, bleu cheese crumbles and buttermilk ranch This was Huge in size and again tasty and fresh. NEW YORK STEAK SANDWICH (prepared to your specifications) roasted roma tomatoes, swiss, fried onions, garlic aïoli with sweet potato fries Substituted Truffle oil fries here. The fries tasted like the movie butter on popcorn at the cinema.. shoestring and really greasy. Steak itself was top quality unfortunately the Fried onion strings and the steak itself were absolutely ICE COLD.. not even luke warm.. Shame as this was good just Cold. Bottom line here is that its not cheap so you better deliver in all aspects.. No sports other than Network, 32 minutes from food to serving - and ice cold steak at $16.95... Sorry folks you may have captive audience with your location but I'm certainly not going out of my way to spend Money here... EL PASSO!

The service is always great but the wait time on Friday and Saturday nights is 45+ minutes. The appetizers are ok. My favorite entree is Mac and cheese to the second power. This place tends to get really cold and often loud so I wouldn't take a date here.

First, 5 stars for selection of beer on tap. They have whatever you like, I promise. And if you don't know what you like, they will bring you a sample of anything you think you might like. They also have a full bar, for anyone who is not a lover of beer. I recommend this place if you have a group of picky eaters who like to drink... or a group who just likes to drink and doesn't care so much about what they munch on while they are drinking. The food is just okay. Typical American Fare, burgers, sammies, salads, tacos, pastas, desserts. Like I said, variety for all those picky eaters. I really like the nachos here, they are HUGE, and they are pretty good for nachos. Anybody can find something on the menu they like, and nothing I've had has been bad. 3.5 stars for the food. The downside is that this place can get really crowded if you don't get there early, like for a sporting event, or even just a regular Thursday, Friday or Saturday night. I mean like 2 hour waits kinda crowded. So if you wanna watch say, the Heat in a playoff game on a Friday night, get there early or you'll be waiting outside until halftime. They have good happy hour specials during the week also, from 3-6. I paid about half the price of my normal weekend bill.

Yes it's a chain, but it's always a solid choice in my opinion. The beer selection is off the charts and the food is good too. We almost always stop here for lunch or dinner (or for just a snack and a beer) when we visit Gulfstream.

  • Christina B.

Great atmosphere and beer selection of course! Staff seemed extremely friendly but the food was really sub-par... I order fresh fish of the day with macadamia nut crusted and it was bland, just no flavor jumped out at me or added to enhance the fresh fish. It was a large portion of fish however. My husband got the shrimp pasta in vodka sauce and again, nothing special no delicious flavor that made us say "yum" or even want to take leftovers home. For such a great place they need to take their seafood up a notch. I know it's a bar food kind of place and if that's what you want then I'm sure they are fine. Just don't go here if you are truly looking for delicious food.

Ginger Crusted Salmon is officially my favorite thing to eat! Healthy even with (wasabi) mashed potatoes, it's deliciously comforting and so full of flavor! I couldn't finish it this time around because we had apps but the leftovers today were just as fabulous! A definite must!

It was ok. I was always excited to go try their food but the atmosphere is winner here. We had a bit of a wait (about 45 mins for a party of two) but we had no problem mulling around Gulf Stream for the time. Staff was very courteous, drinks were good but I was disappointed in my food. My friend's shrimp bowl was good.. not great but my fish tacos were bleh. I would probably give them another try to see if maybe it was just a bad night. But I must really commend them on service. Waiteress was very good and food came out quickly.

This is a difficult review for me because on one hand I love this place but honestly I don't think I can ever go back. The good: The food. Let me be real it's not kill your mother good, but it's definitely worth repeat business. Food tastes fresh and you get a nice portion for what you pay. I love their salads and their burgers. The bad: I feel like every time I go there the wait staff starts off bomb, but then essentially disappears. One time I watched a girl hiding from us. Literally, hiding behind a door. All we wanted was refills- not your first born. By the end all you see are the bus boys/girls. The server must be at the casino or West Elm for all I know. The worst: I don't really know if I can blame the restaurant for this or just the location, however, the gnat/fly situation is out of control. The last time I was there I had to pull gnats out of my food. No one wants to do this. I guess because it's near the horse track? Honestly I don't know, but I burned so many calories swatting flies that day that I was too tired to eat. How can you enjoy a meal that bugs keep landing on? If I go again I'd have to sit inside. I will never sit outside there again, but I mean it's South Florida, who wants to be indoors?. I just hope the wait staff indoors is better than their outside staff.

Great beer, great service, great food in a really pleasant setting... what more could you ask for? We took a little tour of the amazing beer selection inside but opted to sit outside as it was such a beautiful day. We were seated promptly and a friendly waiter brought menus and answered all our questions about the beers. Larry S. had the Belgian beer sampler and I had the regular one (can't remember what it's called). A chilled tray arrived with six 4-oz glasses of a variety of beers and a guide to each one. We were in heaven! We also split the lobster burger as Larry S. is a turf kind of guy and I'm more of a surfer. It came on a tasty roll with a side of a tomato-y mayo. We upgraded to truffle fries and boy howdy, was that worth the extra $1! I definitely look forward to a return visit to sample more of the delicious food and beer!

It has been a while old friend. I used to come here frequently when I lived down the street (makes sense right)... but now it is only occasionally that I have the opportunity to get over here. The food is good, the drinks are better. I usually have the turkey burger. The one here is seasoned to perfection and has lots of flavor. I have had the sliders when I had no idea that these mini sandwiches had a name, I have had the mahimahi salad, buffalo wings .. all very good. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The place is always packed and its a pretty great crowed. My favorite thing here is their beer selection. Not many establishments carry fruit lambics so it makes me happy to be able to sit back and enjoy my favorite drink with good company.

First time going in and out of a restaurant in 15 mins. First time giving a one star review. First time disliking Yard House. Walked in on 10/11/14 at around 1030pm. Was told by the host that the bar was open seating and to sit anywhere. Usually the hightop tables are a part of open seating so we sat on an empty high table. We were given menus after a short wait. Then the host comes back and tells us she meant we could only sit at the actual bar where to bar tenders are. She said "there is a reason why these tables r pushed together" The waiter who gave us the menus then walked us around the bar but saw no openings so he told us talk to the bartender etc. We asked for a table but was told to go back to the front desk. At that point, we just felt like we were being shuffled around. We just left. Yard house usually always has excellent staff and service. This was probably an isolated incident.

Killer happy hour. Full sized plates for $5-$8! Great place to go with friends and split a bunch of orders for the table. The service at this location was a bit sub-par... Our waitress went missing for spells, and wrong drinks were brought to the table. Good food, meh service.

Even though large, the place is very popular and can get packed with tourists, shoppers, casino and race track gamblers. The menu is wide ranging with a huge, and I do mean huge, selection of beer offerings. It has a large indoor area as well as a near 30 patio outside table seating arrangement making it great for getting out of the hot Florida sun or a rain shower. I've had several of their burgers, the BBQ with bacon being my favorite and some of their fish selections. Everything I've had certainly proved to be above average including their service but nothing I would consider exceptional. By far it is one of the better places at Gulf Stream to kick back, relax, and enjoy a decent meal or to try out a good beer or ale. However, it isn't a place I would go out of my way to patronize.

After writing the initial review, I received the most lovely email, apology, and a request for my mailing address. I provided all the information and then, received a $50. Gift certificate to yard house, in hopes I would have a better experience. Last night, my family and I celebrated my daughter's recital. The six of us were blown away by the service, which was incredible. The food was outstanding! Kung Pao Calamari, Korean Barbecue tips, Hawaiian Poke, veggie tacos, spicy tuna, lettuce wraps, butter scotch pudding, everything was just right, perfectly seasoned, and served with love. The waitress was incredibly sweet and attentive. We enjoyed the food immensely! The Kung Pao calamari is the best. It just has all the right flavors and textures. The candied walnuts are a lovely accompaniment to the heat. My husband and father enjoyed specialty beers, having sampled a few... This was just the most delightful surprise and I must say- what a brilliant take over and turn around! Very impressive and once again, this is our place to get together with a large group, enjoy great food, in a very lovely ambiance! Bravo, yard house!!!!

Watson to packed restaurants n yet we were able to sit down right away. Although the waitress is covering such a large area with so many tables. Hshe took our order really fast

OK...so..the food and beer is expensive, but overall they deliver a consistent product and the food is somewhat unique and flavorful. I have to give them 4 stars for the service tonight. It is Valentines day and I called ahead around 815. I dropped wifey and kids off near the center of the plaza and by the time I parked, they were already seated. I ordered Kung Pao Calamari, wife ordered the Chicken Enchilada stack, kids had pizza, chicken noodle soup and chicken teriyaki. I also ordered a shrimp lettuce wrap with extra mushrooms, a dead guy ale and wifey had left hand milk stout. Beers and waters came relatively quick, KP Calamari was out first. The Calamari was good just how I like it, but it was light on the sauce. Waitress brought out extra sauce, no issues after that. Kids meals came out next, followed by the lettuce wraps and enchilada stack. My lettuce wraps were fine, just how I expected. The enchilada stack looked very nice. Presentation was very interesting. Half green sauce / half red with fried green tomato. Kids meals were ok, kids were happy. Our waitress was very attentive. Overall had a good time and was home in under 5 minutes. Good service, good food, good beer, the call ahead and no wait makes for a good night. I dont know if I would ever give 5 stars, because quite frankly, I cant give a place 5 stars that charges 8 bucks for a pint of rogue, but maybe one day. The food is good and very consistent. Solid 4 stars.

1/2 price HH at YH after 10:00 PM. After watching the Christmas light show at the Guflfstream Mall we bumped into this place. Service was great, and the food was good and tasty and 1/2 price for some of the items that we wanted like pastrami sliders, and pizza Margherita, and Nachos. As we finished eating the Moon decided to peek above the wall at the end of the plaza. Spectacular. 12/22/13

I love this place for their drinks and some of the food. Not everything is my taste but it's not too bad. I would definitely recommend this place to many people. The service is good too I've never had an issue with it. The strawberry beer is a must try!

I had a great time here with the nice beer selection and gigantic food options. The drinks are priced three ways, small medium and large. With medium being what you see in every single bar in the USA (pint). I am curious why they added a small option as it is clearly the cheaper of the options. The food was great, the appetizer ordered was the shrimp and crab artichoke dip and it was really good but was actually small for the amount of chips you receive (lots of chips, little dip). The main course was pretty good also, though I suspect there are some dishes that aren't good simply due to the size of the menu. All together the place can get to be deceptively pricey if you drink a lot, so be prepared! Other than that I will be back.

I was at Gulfstream with five friends for the opening of the racing season on Saturday. After winning some dough at the races we decided to have dinner and drinks at Yard House...great choice! We were up for celebrating and wanted to sample some of their many, many beer offerings. We asked our server for some suggestions and he immediately asked what brands we usually drink. Based on our answers he recommended brands to each of us. It was incredible how much he knew about beer offerings and pairings. We each tried new (to us) craft beers and each was awesome! If you go to this Yard House try to sit in Adam's section, you'll be glad you did!

I had an amazing experience here! It was a busy Saturday night and a couple things went wrong. My sisters drink, my appetizer, my friends burger was the wrong one, and a few other tidbits. The manager came to our table without our asking and was extremely nice and professional. He gave us a round of drinks for free and a free dessert for the table. They were so great and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back again.

This was my first time trying Yard House and overall I was very satisfied. I went for my birthday dinner with some of my friends. It was a party for 7. They don't take reservations on the weekend so we had to wait for about 20-30 minutes for a table. Our waitress was very polite. The food was very delicious. The truffle fries were awesome. They gave me a really cute dessert that said the word "birthday" in brown sugar and also a brownie sundae. The ice cream was good. The brownie tasted horrible. Other than that, I will be back again! I liked the vibe of the restaurant

Went here with my husband the Friday evening. Our waitress Mel was great. She was attentive, personable and efficient. We ordered the calamari appetizer which was ok. My husband got the tacos which he said were disgusting. He didn't eat the rice which came with it or the beans which were topped with cheese (yuk they just looked nasty). He only had 2 tacos which he had to force down. I ordered the duck wings which weren't wings but legs. They were ok. The menu is crowded with a lot of items and just seemed to be all over the place. We wouldn't go back and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. That night my husband ended up on the toilet...I won't go into details but it wasn't pretty. I gave the place 2 stars because of Mel. She has a pleasant smile and a very comforting personable demeanor. Mel explained the concept of the menu and the specific items on the menu. Even though she was very helpful we won't be back.

I love this place. The food is always on the money, and what's not to like about an entire menu of beer? The grouper here is fresh and amazing, and my favorite appetizer is the pokey. Kids meals are very reasonable here, and the sandwiches and burgers are also reasonably priced. The service is always excellent, and environment is very relaxing and nice, although we can get a bit noisy at night. Highly recommend this place you always get a good meal here.

This was my first visit to Yard House and it was fantastic. It started with the friendly staff who were very helpful. Our server was very knowledgeable and took her time to explanation their extremely extensive beer menu. Over 130 to choose from. Wow!!! The manager stopped by and was very engaging and as friendly as his staff. The food.....wonderful. We had an arrangement of appetizers and I have to say the chicken wings were delicious. I also tried their truffle fries....can you say Yum whith your mouth full? It's a fun laid back atmosphere that is casually sophisticated. It has the feel of a bar but the class of food kicks it up a notch so that the casual diner can be delighted. A very well rounded concept. Wish their was one closer to home.

This was our second time trying Yardhouse and this time was sooo much better than the first time! I had the chips and guacamole (delish) and 3 different street tacos. The Asada was awesome! TheVampire Taco was meh and the Chicken with feta taco was kind of terrible, but that's just my taste buds (I'm a little picky lol). My girlfriend had the jumbalaya (shocker lol) and she loved it. Great ambience, open really late & tons of variety on the menu. The only reason I'm not giving the place 4 stars is because of the cocktail menu.. Cmon guys!! Everything Offered was sugary & syrupy... Even the mojitos, they use what I'm assuming is the monin syrup mix... Yuck. What they did offer on the "skinny" side (which is usually an easy way to get fresh ingredients) is still made with purees, syrups and "x-rated" liqueur... So I just stuck with my patron "up" and the babe had a couple "T&T's" and had a great Friday night with friends.. Will definitely be back!

when it comes down to it at the end of the day, this place is just a glorified sports bar. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a beer drinker and I love their beer selection, but it's a little over priced. Their food is very good, but I think it is a little over priced as well. And I've also had a few bad experiences where food has taken 20-30 minutes to come out and has been cold or has been so dry and was clearly under a heating lamp for quite a while. Honestly, if it wasn't for their beer selection I would probably have only given them a 2.

I like this place a lot. They must got over 100 different kinds of beers on tap, which made my decision on which beer to drink very tough. The bartenders were very helpful, they kindly let me taste different beers before I can make my decision, even thought it was a very busy Saturday night. We also ordered the jerk wings (yes wings again...) and couple of street soft tacos. All were very delicious. The only bad things is that this place is located next to the casino. So unless you want to spend $10.00 on valet parking, you have to park in the parking garage two blocks away. Call me lazy but I like to just walk out the door and get in my car...walking two blocks make it very challenging for me after I had 3 beers with dinner.

I love yard house! The rose garden beer blend is soft and delicious. There's an extensive menu that is friendly for vegetarians too. We usually get the friend chicken strips, pepper crusted filet, or the mac and cheese. My husband and I have never had a bad meal here. There's outside seating and room inside for larger parties. Save room dessert!

Lots of beer choices Ahi poke bowl is fantastic. Great place for lunch. Very reasonable. Also had a pork belly taco, tasty but on the small side for almost 5$. Better to get the platter I think. Precious was our server, did a great job.

Came in for a beer and to watch part of the Army/navy game. It's a really neat place with nice decor and 130 beers on tap. Service was a little slow even though it was pretty dead. We also ordered a hugos y rajas (veggies and mushrooms with feta, avocado and chili thread) and my boyfriend got a blackened swordfish taco with avocado. I loved that they have a whole "gardein" section with fake meat. We'll definitely be back to try more food and beers!

    (4)
  • Aaron Z.

Where do I start- we were seated for lunch and had a nice table outside. The menu was varied and looked great. The most special thing about the menu is that every burger also comes as a vegetarian Gardein burger instead of beef. This is a splendid thing for vegetarians to try- variety. Haha. The waitress happened to pass by our table several times without refilling our water, though. You can get pretty thirsty baking in that sun. Overall, excited to return.

We've been to many yard houses and this one was just ok... We always sit at the bar because we usually find the service to be better when I like to order different sauces for our meal( which are always delicious and unique to the brand!). This past time the service was a little absent, and after finishing our meal we waited for many minutes with our payment on the check presenter without being processed. We had to get up and give it to the bartenders, without a notion of apology... It was not busy, about 30 minutes to close and we know what to expect from the brand (especially at our the bar in are original hometown locale in Costa Mesa!)... Still we love yard house.

Pretty disappointed eating here for the second time. Theirs a lot of things I love about Yard House but I couldn't see past all the problems I had when I came here. When trying to figure out what to order I overheard a manger tell a server to "get them in and get them out" referring to flipping the tables fast. That is kind of disappointing when you are trying to enjoy your meal. So basically the whole time we were eating there we felt rushed. The next problem came when drinks we ordered never showed up. The waitress took forever to come back and when she did she said" oh I guess it is tapped then" What?! why wouldn't you check this instead of having us wait forever?! And by the time she came back we were ready to go. Besides these issues I will say the blackened fish tacos were amazing and I highly recommend them if you do go.

I do not see the fascination with this place. My server barely spoke English, but she was nice...I ordered a pint of cider and it was barely even cold.. and the food was ust mehhhh.. We got a guacamole appetizer..the chips were SO stale and greasy...we also got sweet potato fries, and they were just bland and gross...my friend got a french onion soup and said it was good. We got onion rings, errrrr...again.. nothing special...and for my entree I got a pepper crusted burger, and I did modify the cheese that came on it..and it was good.. but nothing was as good as all the "hype" I heard about this place... Our table was awkwardly placed, I felt like we were in everyone's way.. I won't go back. Not impressed..

I loved this place when I lived in Hallandale Beach. They have a great happy hour (half price apps, not sure they still do that). The interior is very nice, clean, and modern. Several tv's around. The food is delicious but the service can be slow at time. They have a ton of beers on tap and you can do a flight for pretty cheap. Gets very crowded on weekends around dinner time. Nice addition to the area!

I've been to Yard House several times, but never during a Heat Game! Unfortunately I had to wait about 1 hour and a half for a table, but the good thing is we were able to walk around Gulfstream, and go to the Casino in the mean time! I absolutely LOVE the vast beer section this restaurant has. It is quite remarkable. They have all sorts of beers, and three different sizes. My favorite thing to do is get the smallest size ($2.95) which is still a decent amount, that way I can try different beers. For dinner I order the organic tomato bisque (MY FAVORITE), and the chicken lettuce wraps. The wraps are delicious, they come with three different sauces, all yummy! I love that this dish is so filling yet light. I really do enjoy going to this restaurant. There are so many beers and dishes to choose from, the combinations are endless! One suggestion: NEVER go during a Heat game, unless you plan on waiting!

You know what you're getting when you step inside a big box mega-selection brewery. (1) Wide wide wide selection of great beer that's reasonably priced. (2) Average food that's slightly overpriced. (3) Dark ambiance conducive to putting back more than a few of said beer. (4) Adequate service. This met all the above. I tend to frequent Yard Houses pretty frequently, but never with real excitement. It's utility driven, and in all fairness it's reasonably well done.

  • Herman G.

Great bar - has something like 100 different beers. The food is also decent at times (have experienced some occasions with less than stellar food) - If you are in the mood for a heart attack, I recommend their Mac & Cheese dish - freaking awesome. The service here could be better, and expect a long wait to get a table.

Four of us ordered burgers. The turkey burger was fine. One was perfectly cooked, on the rare side of medium rare. one person had ordered the burger naked with sauteed onions. It arrived without onions and the bun slathered with mayo. One arrived completely well done. the replacement for this one was even more cooked. The only saving grace was the manager who would not let up until I ate something, we accepted dessert, and he comped the bill. I've enjoyed this Yard House in the past, but will give it a pass until season is over. This location just can't handle the crowds.

I have been to this restaurant many times before and have enjoyed the food very much. This time we had the best service as well. Our Server Steve was absolutley amazing. Very welcoming and friendly and helpful with food choices. I tried the Mac and Cheese and added Shrimp and it was the perfect cure for my hangover. Thank you Steve for taking such great care of me and my friends. We will be back to visit soon!

We (a party of 5 and a lil one) went to Yard House last night (sat) at about 1030p. I saw quite a few people sitting out front and figured we had a long wait ahead of us. We walked in and were seated immediately! Yay! I have been to the Yard House in the Gables a while back, but this location is much nicer. It's in a huge shopping center that has lots of dining options and a smoke-free casino! After we were seated, I started perusing the menu and was blown away at the huge beer/ale/wine selections! I couldn't wait to order, but our waitress took a while to appear. When she finally came, she was so apologetic and pleasant that all was forgiven...and the rest of the evening went well. I ordered a Belgian lambic..They no longer serve Lindeman's, so I ordered the St. Louis Framboise which was just as good! My glass of raspberry goodness was awesome! One of my friends ordered the Silver Caddy, which was quite strong, but tasty if you like Tequila! The guys ordered various beers and all were happy with their selections. Some of our party had eaten a few hours before, so they skipped the entrees and ordered appetizers. We ordered deviled eggs, hummus, sweet potato fries, fried calamari, and egg rolls. Everything was awesome except for the calamari. I believe it was overcooked as it was rubbery and hard to chew! The standouts were the hummus and the sweet potato fries! We had a child in the party that had the kiddie Mac n Cheese and french fries! His french fries were so good, we kept stealing them! Two of us had entrees..we ordered the Mac n Cheese and Crab Crusted Swordfish. The Mac n Cheese was heavenly! It had lots of bacon, chicken and truffle oil! Comfort food to the max! I thought the swordfish was good, but the person that ordered it (a picky chef) thinks it was a wee bit overcooked. Overall, the food was excellent. We were there for 3 hours and never felt rushed or pressured to order anything else. I will definitely visit again.

This place has a great beer selection. They get some exclusive and limited run beers which is cool as that is hard to find down here. Food is ok, nothing to write home about. Bartenders are very boring and flaky. Cell service inside is terrible. Its like being in a cave. Drink a Jai Ali or Left Hand Milk Stout and go party from there.

I love Yard House. I heard of it before I moved to California and when I found out I had one 15 minutes from home I was stoked. Visiting almost every weekend, I began to get accustom to it. When I moved back to Miami I was disappointed it was so far from home. But it's always a treat when I go. After a fun night at the Yelp Elite event at Martini Bar, I had to make a pit stop at Yard House. It's only fair. Wait was 45 minutes, but The Boyfriend (Chris L.), Kevin G. and myself decided to sit outside and wait it out. 2 minutes later here came Alex asking us what we'd like to drink, queeeeeeee? Drinks while I sit and wait? Love! He even let us order food! While we drank and drank, our table was ready! Voila! I ordered the Mac N' Cheese without the bacon. Man was it delish! But considering I rarely even ingest carbs I was full rather quickly and ended up taking the rest home. The Boyfriend ordered the Maui Chicken, like he always has, but said it didn't taste like it did in California. Kevin G. had an appetizer that involved teriyaki steak and brown rice, idk what it was, but it was GOOD! I highly recommend the Lemon Suffle from Yard House, HIGHLY!!! Thank me later ;]

I expect better! My wife and I have been here a few times, and our overall thoughts are that it's priced as a decent restaurant, but has less than subpar service and food. Waited 10 minutes before finally 2 servers arrived, only to squabbled at our table to determine who would or would not serve us. Received caesar salad before any drinks, including iced water. No bread was brought to the table. Caesar salad had stale croutons Famous garlic lobster noodles had lobster shell bits scattered throughout. Server guided us to reuse dirty appetizer utensils instead of offering new clean silverware. We are tired of spending more money on places that serve food of lesser quality than Chilli's or Cheesecake Factory. Ridiculous! Overall standards in the South Florida food industry is terrible, unless you want to spend $60 per person and get what you should have gotten for $20 per person. Not happy!

While we were discovering the unknown Village of Gulfstream Park, we hit up the Yard House after celebrating at an elite event at the Martini Bar with some friends that we haven't seen in forever. We were seated within 10 minutes and received quick service. We had to recover our hangovers with some good food and the menu was screaming my name. The choice was hard, but I settled for the parmesan crusted chicken topped with a tomato and mushroom sauce along with a side of mashed potatoes. I am not a fan of mushrooms, but I couldn't even taste them. I didn't realize how hungry I was until I saw there was no more on my plate. I even got a couple onion rings from Chris's tower. Those were awesome as well.

I've been a fan of Yard House since the Coral Gables location opened. Hadn't visited the Hallandale locale until Super Bowl Sunday. Stopped in here for lunch. Sat at the bar, ordered some beer, and lunch while waiting the Heat game. This review is solely to rave about their mac and cheese. It has canadian bacon, chicken, and mushrooms. The lunch portion was the right spot - along with the Orange Blossom beer. Service, beer and food were all great. Only downside is parking - especially if there's a race going on.

This is one of me and my wife's favorite spot. We come here very often and we're never disappointed. The food is great, the staff is friendly, food is always hot and fresh, it's inside the gulfstream so you can walk around and enjoy the scenery if there's a long wait. there's big screens around on the outside to see the race and stuff. Our kids received free ice cream when we were done with our meal and was ready to leave. We thought that was very nice. I'm not saying they do that on a regular basis but I thought it was a very nice gesture. Try the jambalaya pasta and you can't go wrong! and it's on the low end of the price chain. the calamari and coconut shrimp are also very good.

The entire area in Gulfstream has been completely revamped over the last couple years. It now hosts 2 casinos and lots of great restaurants and shopping. We've been to a couple other restaurants in the center and always noticed The Yardhouse being packed... Now we know why - this place is awesome! With 112 beers to choose from and a great drink menu, Yardhouse was a great evening. We had to wait almost an hour for a table, but went at peak time - around 7:30. We also wanted to sit outside which was a longer wait. Must say, it was well worth it. We perched at the bar, watched the Heat game and it went by quickly. We decided on the Lobster, Crab and Artichoke dip for an app. I had the Shrimp Rice Bowl for dinner and Andy had Lettuce Wraps and Calamari. Everything was great! It was great portion size and were even able to take home lunch for the next day. Everything was priced right, including the drinks. The menu was so crazy big it was so hard to decide on what to eat. We were excited to have tried this place.

YUM... I don't think a "sports bar" gets any better, really. Food is all AMAZING and service is great as well! This is an upscale version of what you might be used to calling a sports bar/ pub, its more like the delicious version actually. My other half has been raving about this place and the truffle fries for months, so we finally made the trip down. I was very impressed and can't wait for the closer location to be built. We had a great time, and so did our pups!

  • Jason G.

I haven't really had a bad meal here. It's not cheap but the combination between a St. Bernadus Abt 12 and the Chicken Mac & Cheese is pretty much what I want my last meal to be. Spinach and Art dip is a must have every time I go. I love this place and it's really the only reason I continue to visit Gulfstream. Be careful though, the wait is long so I would suggest you do call-ahead seating or expect to have anywhere between 45 min - 1 1/2 hour wait for a table.

  • Michael M.

We waited about 25 minutes and when we didn't get called we went to check on where we were on the list and it turned out they forgot us. Fortunately they got us a seat a few minutes after that. The place was completely packed; inside and outside. We were very surprised with how good the food was, this is not bar-food like you would get at Friday's or other places that are known for having an extensive amount of beer. The food was gourmet food. I had the Swordfish Tacos, my daughter had the steak tacos, we also ordered the spicy tuna roll (which is not a ROLL, in the sushi sense of the definition) and we also ordered a Filet. All the food was very unique and extremely tasty. We received the appetizers fairly quickly but it did take a lot longer to get the meal, I'm not sure if it's because they were so busy that they forgot to check the kitchen, or if the kitchen was just very backed up. We will definitely be going back since it's about a 3 minute drive from our condo. Yummmmmy.

I have dined here before when I am in town, great setting but this visit I was introduced to a bad experience that will not engage me in returning. I ordered the bernaise burger with a ceasars salad. the salad arrived limp. soggy croutons and a runny, tasteless dressing. not being a complainer the burger arrived tasty but way overdone from what I ordered. the waitperson arrived asked how everything was and I gently told her about the salad, she apologized and would check in with the kitchen and get back to me .she only returned to collect the check, no resolution no comment. my advice to the owners, address issues and resolve them. I will not return

Service has been really bad. Lunch takes way to long, no longer a fan. Food is still better than most and the beers are excellent.

I really never waste time reviewing chains but what can I say-I LOVE BEER! I wish I could write that even bigger! My love is bigger then 12 point font. Happy hour is good, great beer selection, food hasn't disappointed either. I would mostly stick to happy hour, because although I truly love beer, I love to keep my hard earned monies too. You will keep a lot of it where it should be if you go Monday-Friday 3-6 or Sunday-Wednesday 10-Close.

I met my friends on a Friday night for happy hour. The service was a little slow but the appetizers and dinners were very good. I've been here several times and this is my first time I've had slow service so I'd just chalk that up to a busy Friday . Try the pork tacos. The tuna appetizer on the happy hour menu is very good as well. Nice outdoor seating. They do not accept reservations but you can call ahead.

I absolutely love the Yard House. My first time going here was when my best friend took me to the one in West Palm Beach around 2008 or so. I don't remember what I had here, but I do remember getting the creme brulee for dessert (my favorite dessert in the entire world) and it was to die for. Since then, I've been back to the one in Hallandale Beach twice. I took my boyfriend once for his birthday a few years ago, and he took me again the other night for Valentine's Day dinner. Everything that I've ever eaten here has been excellent. It is a little bit pricey, but I've eaten at way more expensive places. The other night he had the ribeye steak and shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes and loved it. I don't normally eat ribeye steak because they're mostly fat, but I tried his and it was very good. I had the jambalaya -- the small portion with a caesar salad. Their caesar salad was one of the best caesar salads that I've ever had! The dressing was great, it tasted like there was a hint of vinaigrette in it. The croutons and these little chips that they put in the salad were great as well. Onto the jambalaya. I've never actually ordered jambalaya before at any restaurant, but I have tried it elsewhere. This is my first time actually ordering my own anywhere and I loved it. It was a bit spicy, but not too spicy, it had a nice kick to it. It had chicken sausage, crawfish, and shrimp in it. You get a choice of brown rice, jasmine rice, or linguini. I got the jasmine rice. Excellent! The chicken sausage and the shrimp were amazing. As for the service, the waitress was kinda slow, but attentive. We waited 20 minutes for her to bring the check after we asked for it. They were very busy though as it was Valentine's Day. I would go back again and again.

I am soooo happy with my experience today, albeit this place is packed and we waited 30 minutes to be seated (we shouldn't complain, others waited 2 hours). Lemme tell ya, the tomato bisque alone was worth the wait. My husband had the southern fried chicken with these spinach and corn mashed potatoes that were to die for. I had the pepper crusted gorgonzola burger and it was fantastic. It's a tad pricey, but so worth it. You may as well treat yourself.

They have some good food, but don't count on the cooks to get the temperatures for steaks or burgers right. I order a medium burger and got one that was extremely well done, twice! Great variety of beers though with some great beers.

Really great food, huge beer selection, amazing vegetarian options (& meat options!). Blackened swordfish tacos were crazy good. And pepper crusted Gorgonzola burger (I made mine vegetarian with the Gardein burger option) was amazing! Very impressed with the food here!

My husband and I love Yardhouse!!!! We usually go when we are getting my car washed. We would love to try new things on the menu but we can't move passed the loaded nachos as an appetizer and the Mac & cheese. Both items are delicious ! We've never had a problem with wait time or service. The prices are great and my husband loves the beer. The drinks are delicious. Free parking... Things to do after dinner. Kid friendly place during the day and pet friendly.

What a nice lunch with the girls I had today at Yardhouse. I had been here before, but they had not. Everything we ordered was delicious, and I was glad to not disappoint them with my selection. I think that by now they have figured out to trust the Yelper ; ) I really do need to expand my horizions when it comes to the menu, but I love the salad with the pear and walnuts so much. Ditto for the grilled cheese with tomato basil bisque. Our waitress, Liz, was so much fun and so nice, that we were ready to ask her to pull up a chair and hang out with us. After lunch we caught a horse race. I wish I could pick a horse as well as I pick a sandwich, but that was not to be. All in all, a very enjoyable day at Gulfstream.

Great American cuisine can happen in a chain restaurant! I'm usually not a fan of chain restaurants, but I must say, I really like this place in terms of food, service and atmosphere. It's quite dark, so if you're not a fan of such, perhaps you should consider sitting outside. I personally think the dark gives it a clubby/bar modern feel, which I like a lot. It's a little loud, because it gets packed; so if you're more interested in a speak-easy, intimate environment, either for a first date or catching up with someone, you may not find this place fitting. I'd say it's great for big groups; for people who know each other already; and for people who want to grab something to eat and have the first cocktails of the night. I've been to Yard House twice -- once with a large group of 14 people, and the second time, by myself. So the first time I sat at a big table and we had a few servers; and the second time, I sat at the bar. LET'S TALK ALCOHOL! ~ I love the fact that Yard House is one of the very few places in South Florida where you get both, a fancy selection of draft beer and some mixology -- although the first is their main focus, I think. Because both times I went I was famished, I didn't go for beer, since it's so filling. But I can tell you, their beer selection is not shabby at all, and if you're trying to make up your mind, you can always try the beer samplers (which is what I will do next time I go, when I have eaten promptly). However, that being said, cocktails are definitely creative. The Southern Belle is a refreshing drink, made with sweet tea vodka, lemonade and chunks of pineapple and strawberries. I couldn't really taste the vodka at all, but I will say it makes a good drink to have while eating, if you're like me, and don't like heavy alcohol with your food. But the drink I really liked the most is their Elderflower, found in the sparking cocktails section of the menu: Piper Sonoma sparkling wine, St. Germain elderflower liqueur and Hpnotiq liqueur, with a little rosemary garnish. Like the other drink, it was not very strong, but I could taste the liqueur on this one better. "Liqueur?! You liqueur! You brought 'er!" [Ba-dum, tsss!] :-D TUMMY LOVE ~ As I am not usually craving American cuisine, because it's far easier to make at home than something more exotic, -- as say, sushi, Korean BBQ, French cuisine, etc. -- I must say, once you try their Mac & Cheese, I can guarantee you it will solidify your relationship with the gym. It's just decadent: chicken breast, applewood bacon, wild mushrooms, cheddar, parmesan, campanelle pasta and truffle oil. Can I *marry* truffle oil??? They have a small portion and the bigger, entrée portion. Need I say which you should order...? All the way, like a sir! OTHER TUMMY GOODIES ~ Their Clam Chowder soup is great and thick. On their appetizers section, their Spinach Cheese dip and their Lobster, Crab and Artichoke dip are both very good. They serve the lobster one with tortilla chips, and the spinach one with fried pita bread chips (waaaay better than tortilla chips). I'm sure if you ask them, they'll substitute one for the other. SWEET ENDER ~ Their Mini Peach Apple Cobbler with a scoop of caramel ice cream is just perfect! As you may assume by the name, it's not meant to be shared, and I have no problem with that! - THE BILL ~ 1 Southern Belle specialty drink 1 Mac & Cheese entrée 1 Mini Peach Apple Cobbler dessert + Tax _______________________________ = $31.96, plus tip - NIGHT-OWL-FRIENDLY! ~ Did I mention they serve food until late? Sundays to Thursdays until 12 midnight Fridays and Saturdays until 1am SERVICE ~ Last, but certainly not least: servers were very nice and helpful the first time I went; but the second time I sat at the bar, I loved the bartenders. Both the guys and the ladies were super friendly and attentive. I must do a special shout-out to the bar manager, for playing Superman, in fact! Some crazy drunk dude walked in, and with a gazillion other open seats at the bar, he sat riiight next to me, and was getting all chatty and slurring his words -- just annoying, and you could tell he had been drinking elsewhere since very early. I signaled the bar manager that Drunkie McDouchey was bothering me, and he immediately came over and told the guy the had to leave. Now, that's not only fair to me, but a smart thing to do for business to stay good, too. I was already done and ready to get the check, so the bar manager could've ignored, but didn't. Much appreciated! OH, RIGHT! PARKING! ~ As you may already know, Yard House is located within The Village at the Gulfstream casino complex. You can either park at the meter spots in the little streets closer to the restaurant, or you can park inside the multi-level parking lot, which is free. So, yeah! Give it a shot!

I can't think of a better way to have lunch at a racetrack. Awesome street tacos, really really good beer selection. If they just had the feed from the track on the screens, it would have been 5 star.

I've never had a bad time here! Happy hour is the best with so much to drink and the appetizers are all amazing. I love the onion rings and the best are the chicken nachos which always goes well with a Downtown Brown.

I had a lot of fun coming out here with the cousins for winter break. I have to say the service was really good . I like how its right next to the horse showing, so if you are waiting you can look at the horse you want to bet on. As well more than enough televisions to go and watch sports/news, and have more than a couple of beers. It was fun though when my younger sister tried to get alcohol with a military ID, and it showed that she was under age, and the waitress had to double check to see with the manager if she could give her beer. Anyway, I would give Yard House a shot to go out, and eat here. I know I'll be coming back here when ever I'm back around in Miami!!!

Love it! I've only visited twice but I'm already addicted to the poke. I usually sit at the bar but it was too chilly inside so we had a nice table outside and our server was on point with everything. We made happy hour by 10 minutes...YES! The only thing I did not like was that my beer that I ordered layered with Guinness was not layered but that is minor and will not stop me from returning by any means.

Never fails. Yard House always has the most variety in food and drinks. With 130 beers on tap it's hard to decide... so get the sampler. But make sure you arrive a little early on the weekends. This Yard House is ALWAYS packed no matter the day of the week.

This is after a third visit to this place. The food and ambiance is good. However, belonging to a corporation that seems to know nothing about training their staff in having happy customers, has its cons. The last couple of times I've been there, the service was really bad. I guess it's because the servers already know they will be receiving a 18% gratuity imposed in the bill for groups. It's really sad to see a nice place run by incompetent people.

Visited Yard House this past Saturday afternoon for a booze-y lunch with one of my besties. GREAT afternoon lunch choice. Loved the environment, not too crowded but just busy enough and it was a beautiful day to boot. We opted sitting at a high-top inside near the bar to avoid the heat. Decided to continuously order bar bites and appetizers throughout our lengthy and "quenchy" lunch. Started with the grilled artichoke (bone dry and served with an attempt at roasted garlic aioli that tasted like straight up mayo with no seasoning - tried to choke it down but ended up sending it back) and the pear and Gorgonzola flat-bread - score (this was different AND delicious)! A couple of drinks later (one being a perfectly made Kettle One Dirty Martini) we went for one street taco each - my friend got the Baja Fish Taco - tasted this and really liked it - the fish was fried in a light and crispy batter. I ordered the Korean Short Rib taco and they brought me the Pork Belly one instead. I didnt mind too much as it was tasty and spicy. I didnt particularly think the "Moo Shu Egg Rolls" were very moo-shu-ey but I enjoyed them. My friend didnt care for them but did enjoy the crispy sweet potato sticks and red cabbage they were resting on while dipping the combo in the plum sauce. Lasty (and a couple more drinks later) we got the truffle fries. The taste was there but they came out really cold :( We told our server that "they were delcious but you're gonna kill us..." he finished the sentence "Cold - that happens sometimes Ill get you a new batch" And he certainly did a few moments later. And they were delcious. Crispy, hot, parmaseany, truffly...yummy. Our first server - he was awesome! Our second (and yes we were there for the shift change) - Meh. She was nothing to write home about. Will definitely come back here to give it another shot The menu is so extensive, there is lots to choose from.

I have gone here a few times and it is nothing more then ok. OK food, ok drinks, although I found mine to be water downed several times. I never return a drink but had to twice. IF my jack and joke is clear, something is wrong. Pros: Late night happy hour. amazing selection of beer.(just ask for samples) friendly staff Cons: A few of the meals for what they give you were over priced.. The portions are huge but the quality is ehhh. IT is by no means bad. But if the food quality was to increase a little this place would be near perfect.

This is a great Yard House. The atmosphere and service are much better than at the Palm Beach Gardens location. Our server here made great suggestions and was very friendly. He was perfect. The new tacos are fantastic, try the whitefish or Korean beef. Also, the organic tomato basil bisque is wonderful. We will definitely be returning to this Yard House!

This is a great place where the atmosphere, lighting and service is great for any crowd. The salmon was to die for and plentiful! The waiter kept our wine glasses filled and the appetizers of the chicken wing and the egg rolls were perfect! TV screens all over and a diverse of people. Definitely a good selection by my sister!

My friend had bday dinner here and boy was it hard to locate this place. I was 15 mins late, but the point is I made it there. We had a 7:30 dinner reservation and this place was packed all night. First things first, Yard House is for beer lovers. And for the record I just like beer. For starters I tried their deviled eggs and eh, it was definitely different, but I didn't like them. They lacked flavor and the tomato sauce was not helping. For dinner I ordered their Southern friend chicken with spinach mashed potatoes. The spinach mashed potatoes were great. Now the chicken breast seemed to have been friend too long as the breading seemed burnt and it lacked flavor as well. I didn't enjoy my meal and left most of it on the plate. I ordered a mint julep and it wasn't that great either. Now, for the service. Yes we were seated promptly, but that's the only positive thing. The servers (two) spent most of the time away from the table and we had to be on the look out for them. They avoided one side of the table (my side) and some of us had to walk around to the other side to place our order. When the food was coming out, they walked around whispering "who ordered this... or that." A couple of the dinner party had to shout out the orders to get the food to the right person. Lastly, when it came time for the bill, my friend and I got our bill 30 mins later than everyone else and that's b/c we had to ask for it. They completely forgot us as they did all night. Not sure if i will be back here, there wasn't much I enjoyed.

Great place to wind down for the night. They have an astounding selection on tap with seasonal brews rotating through as well. The beer sampler for Oktoberfest was great. Be sure to try the sashimi appetizer too, it's great!

Went recently after having a bad experience at another location. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive and helpful. Just a few problems, we had to send back a few things. The spicy tuna roll was neither spicy, nor really a roll. It was a mushy hockey puck. We also sent back the Lobster and Pasta dish. It tasted horrible and the meat was clearly imitation. Our waiter quickly suggested something better and we very much enjoyed the newer pasta seafood dish. I had a great ribeye and the desserts were awesome.

This place use to be good the last time it was the worst ever. The pizza was from the box it had to be ... even the manager said it looks really bad and took it from the table himself . The deserts were nothing to write home about and the salads that we had were may be just may be two stars , But over all this is what i think of this place so far ...

15 words or less: Promising menu that way under-delivers. But great outdoor seating to watch the horses. 15 words or more: I have tried this place three times. Each time I read the menu, I like what I read. It has a ton of options and seems creative. But each time, the food just does not deliver. The reasons are different every time. But generally, I did not find the food fresh or flavorful. I will say there is a ton of outdoor seating, which is covered and has fan/misters available. This outdoor seating is great if go during horse racing season, and can watch the horses parade by before their race. It is a great spectacle for the kids and adults.

I thought I wrote this review already. I went back in May for my friend's bday. Beers/drinks were good. Wide variety. I will also tell you what is good about it because if it wasn't for the below average pasta that we ordered (esp for the price) I would have given this 4 stars, BUT like all restaurants there are certain things you just won't like or are as "signature"/good as other items. The pasta was definitely lacking. The spicy jambalaya. I liked MiMi's Cafe one better, and my bf ordered vodka shrimp pasta that tasted like not good Mac & Cheese except it wasn't $2. It was okay pasta but I've had better at CheeseCake Factory (pasta overall) and it was cold. Tasted like it sat underneath a heat lamp which is what happens when you go and it's busy because it's a weekend and the 2011 Play Offs were on. What I did like. My clam chowder was really good. The white colored kind. My boyfriend liked his French onion which personally I just don't care for that soup in general. I tried some of my friend's organic tomato bisque soup. Tastes like tomato, not much wow factor but I REALLY liked my clam chowder. Fries fried in truffle oil. Very good, very greasy, cut thin so it was crunchy just the way I like it. The other appetizer was the lobster crab artichoke dip. It wasn't bad but I really don't know what kinda lobster you can put in it (obviously not a lot) and probably imitation for $13? The crab was definitely fakey/imitation BUT it didn't taste bad. I guess it pretty much goes both ways... WHAT DO YOU EXPECT for $13? I dunno but imitation stuff is not worth $13, then again you'd have to kill, chop up and cook your own lobster for about $10. Desserts were good. Most of them and I think I had most of them. I liked the mini creme brulee the most. Mini peach cobbler, brownie and kona coffee ice cream sundaes were all good desserts. I'd definitely go back just to eat dessert but probably not because I don't want to wait in line on a Saturday night.

I came here the other evening with some friends, and we were all very happy with our choice of venue. The menu is extensive, and luckily I had looked it up online in advance. Pro: they have their nutritional information online! Con: VERY few menu items are under 1,000 calories. It's a little painful to calculate Weight Watchers points here ;) We started out with an order of the truffle fries... mind you, I've never had truffle oil, but holy cow these were good fries. They were drizzled with the oil, and topped with parmesan cheese and herbs. They did not last long on the table. One person got the beer sampler - I tried the tangerine wheat, which was an awesome beer. For my entree, I got the classic sliders (which are actually slightly less fattening than the turkey club... who would've thought?). The others got the penne with chicken, the summer salad and the surf and turf burger. All of us really enjoyed our meals. My sliders were cooked perfectly, but I couldn't finish them. I would come back here in a heartbeat - the service was great (our waitress was honest with us when we asked her for an opinion on something... I trust waitstaff more when they tell you what they really think versus "Oh, everything is great!") and our food was awesome. One slight annoyance was the fact that they told us it was a 45 minute wait, so we went to the Cheese Course next door for a little nosh. 15 minutes later, we hadn't even gotten our orders from there when the buzzer went off. So that was a little disappointing. Glad it was a short wait, but I just wish they'd gotten their timing a little better so we didn't waste money.

I think the place could be in the 4 star range but the service was so bad for us that I just can't go so high. Can't believe I even went with 3. I had a good time but that's because of the friends I was with. No reservations for parties under 9. They said it would be a 30-40 minute wait on a Saturday night. It was. We were seated in a regular table (which by the way was about 1"-2" below regular height or the chairs might have been too tall. Something was amiss). Asked for Grolsch which I had been craving but they did not have it. Could not make up my mind on any other beer from their extensive list so I ordered my usual Heineken. It came in a cool glass at a cool temperature. Cool is nice but how about cold?Isn't beer their thing? I like to taste my beer but I happen to like it cold as well. When I asked the waitress about it she took it very personally. She spit out how all the beers are kept at 30 degrees and was clearly annoyed I commented on it. I NICELY insisted that my beer was not cold enough. I then suggested a frosted mug perhaps? Or that maybe my beer sat out too long before she brought it over? She eye rolled, said that frosted mugs water down beer and just took it away only to bring an exact one later on served by another waitress who literally slid it in front of me and stomped away. When my friend sent back her drink because they used cranberry instead of oj in it (oooops) she just took the glass without as much as minimal eye contact and also stomped away. Ooooookay. Did not know ordering drinks would be so difficult. Appetizers: coconut shrimp which was lacking the sweetness of the coconut and the lobster, artichoke, crab dip which was really good. Entrees; several macadamia crusted fish dishes, crab cakes on a hoagie, garlic noodles and pastrami sliders with truffle fries. ALL were very very nicely done. We all shared a beer sampler throughout the night. Liked the Lost Coast tangerine wheat the best! ( from California) Desserts: creme brûlée (average), chocolate souffle (best one), lemon souffle (dry). Coffees (American and Espressos)were average at best. Service was a little better after the drinks incident but not by a whole lot. It sucks when you dread speaking to your server. It was really loud. It felt like I was at a Dave n Busters really. Oh and ladies, be careful what shoes you wear. The floor was really slippery. Walking to the bathroom in heels took a lot of concentration. Yes, I was sober. The floor in the bathroom, although the same style, was not slippery though. Would not willingly come back here. Nothing special. Why would I with so many other places nearby?

As I walked in, my eyes glistened with a sparkle when it made eye contact with all the taps at the bar. With over a 100 beers on tap, it is a beer lover dream come true. Beer aside for a moment, Yard House has great appetizers and there are select ones that are half off during happy hour. Not only does one get great beer choices, but also a nice selection of tasty appetizers. Back to the beer, the bartender recommended trois pistoles. His recommendation was spot on; it was a fantastic beer. It is Canadian beer, but taste reminded me of a trappist beer. This Yard House really has it all. Free parking in the garage, great service, good food, and a radtacular choice of beers on tap. What more can a person want?

Happy hour is by far the best time to go. Many appetizers are half price and always worth it. The chicken nachos are monstrously large and tasty. My favorite apps have been the Hawaiian poke stack and the seared ahi tuna. Both are loaded with flavor and their un-fried-ness makes me feel less bad drinking more beer. Although I'm not a vegetarian, the gardein boneless wings would not make me miss the real thing. I haven't regretted anything I ate and the stand outs for entrees were the surf n turn burger and the crabcake sandwich. You can sub in sweet potato fries for $1 so I always do that. The selection of beers is pretty nice and the 6 pack sampler is often a good way to go but be sure to ask the server for the list of what's being served currently if you don't like a particular style. It's a pretty good place to watch sports since there are plenty of TVs everywhere. There's a nice outside seating area and you can watch the water fountain show. The only negative I can think of is that service can be a little slow at times. If this place was closer, I'd go there more often.

Awesome place for beer lovers! Very spacious and definitely can see how it gets very busy during the racing season.... I didn't even see it when I went to the races last winter. A very wide variety of dishes and tastes are offered; from sushi and asian fusion to american traditional game day foods (heightened a bit) to pasta & italian fare as well. There are TV's everywhere and a very large outside patio that is covered with TV's as well. Definitely a place to go for games & will be going again once racing season opens.

I have now been to three different Yard Houses, one in Miami, Denver and now Hallandale. If I had to rate the three, Hallandale would finish at the bottom for customer service. I play poker at Gulfstream a lot and go grab a burger after but each time it is the same story, lackluster service. If their burgers weren't on point combined with my laziness to explore elsewhere they would have lost my business by now.

Finally stopped in for lunch during the week. It was packed (might be due to holiday..) which surprised me. However, my table of 8 girls was seated with no wait time which is a big plus. The menu looked great, but due to limited timing and the attempt to prevent a food coma on a monday, i chose to go with the lunch special: pick two combo. I went for the tomato bisque soup and the turkey club. The turkey club gets an A+: fresh turkey, avocado!, swiss cheese, and bacon. yum yum yum The tomato bisque soup was OK - but i've had better. I think next time i would go for the french onion, which everyone said was very good. Being the food nudge that I am, i managed to sneak a bite of someone's mac'n'cheese. It looked great (and lavish) but i think the truffle and the mushrooms were a bit too much for me. I'll save my mac'n'cheese to velveeta and panera bread. I cannot wait to go back and try more items on the menu ...and give yelper @fivestar R a run for his mayorship :) Yard House Bonus: they split the check 8 ways with no problems, questions, or eye rolls Yard House Fail: 18% gratuity included

In an effort to find a nice, local and fast service bar/restaurant I found myself at Yard House in Gulfstream Park. I had visited other Yard House locations for lunch, yet this was the first time trying them out in the evening. I arrived with my cousin on a Saturday and walked in to leave our name on a list, having seen about 8 tables available outside we figured it would be a breeze. While the staff was extremely friendly we found ourselves in a much longer wait than expected or even found reasonable. I cannot hate if the place was jam packed busy, but as mentioned before there were clearly tables available. We waited and finally our buzzer went off indicating it was time to be sat. We ordered our beers, and a couple of appetizers to be shared; our beers were as delicious as could be, Blue Moon, you never fail. Our appetizers were good, we ordered the sliders, onion rings and chicken wings and everything came out just fine, no problems. The only suggestion I would give is if ordering the onion ring tower, keep in mind it's a pretty large order and if not eaten quickly they will get cold fast; not a suggestion to try unless perhaps you are on your 5th round of beer. And speaking of beer, there selection is beyond imagination. The only true disappointment, was the long wait to be seated while tables were available, I felt like at a high end restaurant were the only reason for a long wait was to assure the maitre d' (host/hostess) would get a tip. All in all, this place is decent; there are however much better bars, restaurants and the combination of both within Gulfstream Park, especially when it becomes a waiting game.

I want Yard House to do well. Really I do. I ordered two totally different items on the menu last week for lunch. Both had to be sent back because they were horrible. First, I ordered this shrimp with a tortilla thing. The shrimp were raw, the meal gross. Then I ordered the sliders. How hard is that? Not hard at all. Anyway, the sliders were too salty for human consumption. I had to send them back as well. After sending back two items I was done. They were robotically apologetic which was nice of them. But I want to have a good beer and decent food. I appreciate that they take the time out to say sorry. But there might be better cooks working at Denny's!

If I could rate this place a 6 I would. It's World of Beer meets Cheesecake factory. Who doesn't love that? It has great food AND the best beers. You'd have to be some snobby horse race watcher sipping on mint juleps not to understand Yard House. The egg rolls are great The Mac and Cheese great The burgers great The sandwiches great The pasta great The beer .... any place that has LOST COAST tangerine is GREAT. I'm jealous of whoever came up with this place ...I bow down to thee

Pretty big fan of this place. I have been here a number of times already and the food never disappoints. The ribs, salad, sandwiches- all large portions and delicious. The atmosphere also makes this place a huge win. So many beers on tap and a great place for big groups. Only 2 negatives experiences: not a fan of the mac and cheese, and when I forgot my ID, they wouldn't serve me drinks (I in no way look younger than 21). Other than that- great food, great place

Yard means yard of ale. This is a great ale house. There are perhaps 120 beers on draft alone. I asked if it was legit and if they are all fresh, the draftsman pointed me to the back of the room where you can see all the kegs. Its legit. Food? I dunno. Im here for beer tonight while the wife shops in this newish shopping center attached to the Gulfstream horse track in Hollywood, FL. Don't be fooled, though, this is a youngish mid-upperscale area with a crate and barrel and a pottery barn et.al ., for those who know what im talking about in the shopping know (i.e. ask your wives). Ok back to the bar- it is large. And impressive. The brews are piped in via stainless conduit piping overhead and spills out to an expansive tap bank. Think of a beer..... Yep, got that one... Yea got that other one you were thinking of too. Im enjoying a draft Harp. I'm going to try and get some pics up that I took. Visually it is quite impressive. One possible downfall is the race track itself as evidenced from the experience my wife is having at the moment - stuck talking to some inebriated older lady, and she's getting a bit peeved... That may be a drag on this place as horse racing season gets going again. I've already observed one elderly gentleman approach the bar in his oxygen equipped power wheelchair asking about the races (which don't start until January)

We had some great beers (or server actually let us try a bunch before we even committed to one!) and I loved the atmosphere. The fries w/ truffle oil & parmesan were awesome. I wasn't truly impressed with my entree (which is why I just couldn't give 5 stars) and neither were the other two. I will certainly come back, but I might try the "safer" food choices like a burger, etc.

I went here last week with my sister after a Yelp party. They have a great atmosphere and a great menu. There are some things I would like to see change there though. Fist of all, they have a section on the menu for Gardein which is a vegan "meat." I was excited about this. Let me just say that this is not a vegan/vegetarian restaurant as they do also serve steak. The thing is the Gardein was not being utilized properly. They had it as a topping on a cheese pizza made with actual dairy cheese. They also had it in pasta with cream sauces, etc. I decided to order the Gardein sliders and they brought them to me as cheese burgers which had I not checked first I would have bit into. I think they have the right idea to offer it but the staff doesn't know what to do with it and I would like to see them come up with creative uses for it as a vegan dish and not just as vegetarian (which for those that don't know the difference means that vegetarian food still uses dairy and egg product even though there is no flesh). Next on my agenda is to try the one up in my neck of the woods which would be Palm Beach.

I love the Yardhouse in Illinois so I wasn't concerned about how good their food is since it is ALWAYS terrific. This Yardhouse really stood out because the waiter really knew his beers. He let us try the beers before we got them and knew which ones would suit the tastes we described. Not too often that the waiters know the food AND beer

I love this yard house! they have the very best veggie burger! also even though they are usually pretty packed they always manage to keep a flow and your wait never seems useless. The drinks are great. atmosphere is good and the food is tasty! *NOTE* They have an actual vegetarian menu!!!!!!!* anyone who doesn't eat meat understands the frustrations of dining out but this place is the very best! they have a full menu for veggies! I enjoy going there for lunch, dinner and drinks any day of the week, a definite must try. definitely one of the best restaurants at the village of gulfstream park, the only reason I didn't give it the 5th star is because they are a pretty full restaurant and sometimes I don't want to wait! also, I am not done fully sampling the veggie menu but so far so good!

Been there twice and they are 2 for 2! I can highly recommend the lobster, crab, and artichoke dip and the seared ahi sashimi appetizers. The New York steak sandwich and Mac & Cheese are also great! We weren't, however, very impressed with their trio dessert sampler. The service was excellent but they do keep it pretty cold in there so I suggest bringing a sweater.

I was SO excited when I walked in this fine establishment. Being a bit of a Beer connoisseur, this place was like a dream. Just one look at those shiny tap lines leading to a sanctuary of kegs will get you thirty! The scrumptious variety of cuisine is worth the wait and crowd.

Ordered a Hawaiian Burger! Which was very good. Came with this Aloha Sauce which I put on everything! My side was french fries, that came with olive oil, parsley, and parmesan cheese. Which would of been VERY good if they were fresh. When the food got to the table it tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp for about 5 minutes. That's why I gave this rating a 4 out of 5. For a restaurant with such a good reputation, I don't think that the food should of been served like that. This visit will not stop me from going again. This was my second visit, the first was at the location in Coral Gables where I ordered the (Mac n Cheese)2 dish which was BOMB!! Yard house is a must try and is reasonably priced for what it was.

Service is great, food is mediocre, cost is ridiculous, beer selection is fantastic. I'm not going back here unless it's happy hour. I've went twice with my wife and it's always more then $80 when I include tip. She doesn't drink beer and I usually only have 2, and never order dessert. I would understand paying that for an extravagant dish but that isn't the case here. The food is OK but if their beer selection wasn't here I would never come back. They should turn this place into a pizza and beer place. It's the only thing worth going for.

Overrated, overpriced, nasty staff That pretty much says it all , but just in case you want to know why.. I was there yesterday for an event Gulfstream was hosting. After having my fill of the overstuffed doucebag customers in that place I decided to make my way to another location. I asked my bartender where I could get a plastic cup so I could leave (with my 11 dollar beer), I paid my tab and proceeded to the location of the travel cups... When I returned to the bar to return the pint glasses I was stopped by an overly aggressive hostess, who was in the midst of a public tirade about my horrible transgression. Apparently you may not leave the bar with your pint glass. I was not told this, and this is far from my first time in a pub, she proceeded to read me the riot act in front of many other patrons, making a ridiculous spectacle. Perhaps she needed a pint.(or something else) She wanted me to "inform" her exactly WHO told me it was OK to take the pint glass from the bar and pour it into a paper cup? I wouldn't name names, refused to provide my receipt and I was asked to leave. I was annoyed, but not surprised. The staff looks like they're all about to snap- just give em a reason.. So if you want an expensive beer and an argument from a barely literate barmaid/mgr stop by the Yard House, make sure you drink it there though, or you'll have five feet and a hundred and fifty pounds of fury coming at ya.

Like everyone I work with, I eat here on a fairly regular basis. Overall the quality of the food is pretty good and the menu (American) has some uniqueness to it (jalapeños on the pastrami, bearnaise sliders, etc.) . Steak salad and grilled cheese are fairly awesome, but the mac and cheese sounds better than it tastes. However, the food is just a way to soak up all the booze. The beer selection is what makes this place a four starer (not sure thats a word). They have Kronenbourg 1664 on tap, so that earns an extra star in my book.

    (4)
  • Nicole D.

The food is decent. Nothing to write home about. The menu prices are way too high for the portion sizes they give you. The only thing to really come here for is the beer! One of the largest craft beer selections in the area. Late night happy hour is Monday through Wednesday I believe from 10-close. Appetizers half price and specials on beer...best time to come!

Excellent beer selection. They claim to have "over 112 beers" according to our waiter. Our group tried a lot of different kinds and were quite pleased with the variety. Prices were slightly high but for quality craft beer you're not expecting to get it super cheap. My only complaint is that there are no beer prices on the menu, so you don't know if you are ordering a $5 beer or a $8 one. For example, my wife and her friend had a couple of fruit beers such as Timmerman's strawberry ($8.25/pint) and St. Louis Framboise ($8.25) and my friend and I had Dogfish Head 90 min ($6.75/pint) and Stone IPA ($6/pint). Again, great selection. I would like to try the food sometime; perhaps when I'm over here at Gulfstream another time to shop. On this particular evening we came here after dinner around 10 pm but they do have an extensive food menu as well. I like the decor and setup inside and they have a nice, large patio outdoors as well. I hope to come back next time I'm in this part of town.

In my travels I have come across so many different types of establishments and usually make a point to no go somewhere new on a Friday night. Since someone else made the decision, there was nothing that could be done. We waited about 30+ minutes outside for a flashing beacon to tell us it was time to head inside. The place was packed! Once seated, our waiter, a duplicate of Jonah Hill, the actor from SUPER BAD, started taking drink orders and telling us about the specials. We ordered a round of drinks, some Calamari and Sweet Potato Fries to start. Most were here to drink and not eat but I decided to get an appetizer for my meal. Partially because of not really being hungry and partially due to the prices of some of the meals, a few dollars more than I really wanted to spend. The appetizers arrived and disappeared as fast, they had to be good! When dinner arrived, my appetizer came and the presentation was quite nice! It was the HAWAIIAN POKE STACK. Fresh marinated raw Ahi stacked with crispy wonton sheets, carrots, bean sprouts, avocado and wasabi soy sauce. Delicious!!! The Ahi was delightful and quite fresh. What a perfect meal if you are not all too hungry. We had a waiter change in the middle of dinner as the look-a-like was requested to serve a huge party. Both were animated and seemed to want to assure our happiness. Service was good, especially for a place as large and as busy as this place. I would love to go back as the menu has some incredible looking things on it, a huge array of choices, I just need to refinance my home before going there.

so soo many beers to choose from all over the world! can you say beer heaven?!? my favorite is still the Belgian Shandy... a pear cider and Belgium white concoction... so crisp & light...simply divine! the milk stout was good but a bit tart & heavy for me. The food is good too... the artichoke crisp is a very delish appetizer, as is the tuna and avocado which was larger than expected for an appetizer and could be a main course for many. the truffle fries are also yummy but if you eat too many you get the overpowering truffle oil in the back of your throat for the rest of the night, but they are worth it! this place is large with plenty of outdoor seating and a cool large wrap-around indoor bar with large copper pipes feeding into other tubes to the many yummy beers on tap. the staff is super friendly and informative too. great place. highly recommend it.

This was the first Yard House I had the chance to eat at. Went opening day and between the 150 beers on tap and the great food, I was in heaven. Went back for dinner a few nights later. The place is over staffed for opening which is never a bad thing. Nothing bad to say about the place.

Man this Yardhouse blows the one in the Gables out of the water. The space is a lot bigger and it seems as if the bar is bigger as well. Not sure if they carry more beer, but it does look like it. The salad I had was delicious and the service was on point. I was with a party of six and only had about 45 minutes to eat, and the service had out of their in 35 minutes flat. The interior is a bit different then the one in the Gables, but it's pretty much the same concept. I cannot wait to come here for their happy hour.

My husband, Bill, and I live across the street from Gulfstream Park and eat and drink at this Yard House 3-4 times a week. We always sit at the bar and we love the Happy Hour deals. Yesterday, after the races however, the bar was full and we sat at a high-top table with a TV showing the races, and since Bill had won at the casino, we decided to try something new. He ordered the rib-eye steak, rare, which was grilled to perfection, served with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus and I ordered the grilled salmon, rare, which was also grilled to perfection, served on a bed of grated sauteed carrots, and topped with finely shredded crispy sweet potatoes with asparagus as a side instead of potatoes. I mean to tell you, the memory of that meal has been with both of us ever since. I eat grilled salmon 3 times a week, every week, at Flanigan's as it's currently my favorite food, and consistently good there. The salmon I ate last night at Yard House, however, was exquisite!

It's a shame that I never have the capacity of going to another one of the wonderful restaurants at Gulfstream because I am always in the mood for Yard House. Haha. Their selection of food and beer is huge, and I know that I will leave 100% satisfied everytime.

Ideally I'd give Yard House a 3.5 if possible. The food is good, little pricey maybe for what they serve, but the lunch menu is a good deal: pick two combo - it allows you to choose between salads, soups, sandwiches, pizza and pasta. I've been here a couple times and the menu always looks really promising, but I've never LOVED anything I've ordered. The atmosphere is nice and great for sitting outside or accommodating large groups, and I've never had an issue splitting the check.

Very nice waitstaff, GREAT food. I'm not a fan of sports bars but this one took it up a notch by providing a really great menu and following it up with great food! We went at 11pm on a Thursday, after a meek Haunted House at the racetrack, and had a great time. Try the pear hard cider!

    (5)
  • Mike J.

Not the best service (the wait staff could use a refresher course on requests like napkins and refilling water) had to wait a bit longer than most place, and if you use a passport (US or otherwise) to prove your over 21 to order drinks, your waiter can not accept, US passports REQUIRE a manager approval (so add another 5-10 min for you to order a drink!) to prove your age! I guess they get middle aged tourists with fake passports trying to buy beer? WTF is that!?!

  • Scott S.

It's just like every other Yard House in the country. The beer selection is excellent and the food menu is extensive. As for food quality -- it's mostly good, but too expensive for what it is. My sister ordered a cheeseburger. She wanted a small side salad instead of french fries, but you can only get the salad for an additional charge of $2.49. I ordered the seared ahi steak sandwich. It was a bit too busy for my liking. It has spinach, swiss cheese, tomatoes, caramelized onions, and peppercorn aïoli. All good stuff, but way too many flavors to really enjoy the sandwich. I got the sweet potatoes fries for $1 extra. They were pretty tasty. I typically don't like that sweet potato fries cost more and I'd dislike it even more if they were not flavorful.

  • Marymarie P.

WOW, has their service gone down the toilet or what. I use to love coming here because their menu is pretty great, esp the Happy Hour Menu, but GEEZ...either hire more people to work less tables or hire better servers who can handle the crowd. I've seriously waited for 45 minutes just for water before.

Good food not cheap though but worth it for a game bc of the good beer selection..nice tvs..mac and cheese rly good brownie was ok..they should give you some bread if theyre going to charge restaurant prices..id def go back for happy hour..service was good

Food is below average, and overpriced. Drinks are overpriced too, although the beer selection is cool. Great service though. Cadillac Ranch at the gulfstream was the same thing. Those places at the gulfstream are basicly tourist traps for people going to the casino.

great hang out spot i appreciate the vegetarian options they offer, especially the sliders. I have tried most of the gardein selections and I would recommend anyone into trying them. Also service is so-so, depending how busy and mood the staff are.

I like Yard House. The selection is huge. It's one of those places that has hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, side dishes, small dishes, soups, salads, entrees etc. I've dined here about half a dozen times, and I have to say my favorite menu item is actually the tomato soup topped with a fried basil leaf. The location and bounty of beers is cool. The only reason I'm keeping a star is that it's SO obviously a corporate chain. Servers are almost robotic, because that's what Corporate has mandated. If you order alcohol, they will ask for your ID, even if you're 100 years old. It has the feel of a chain, kind of warehousey, but I dig.

The Yard House some of the best service for a restaurant as busy as it always is...the Happy Hour is where it is at...half-priced appetizers and brews...love the Yard House...

  • J H.

This place is great. Let's start off by saying over 100 beers on tap! The Yard House has a little of everything for everyone. Televisions surround the dining area and bar but it still keeps a more upscale look than your local sports bar. Very kid friendly...My daughter loves it because the food is good; she gets a coloring book & crayons as well as a fruit ice-cream bar for desert, that is included in the kids meal. This is by far the busiest restaurant at Gulfstream so you will need reservations on the weekend.

  • Lorraine H.

We might have liked the place if the service was better. It was Saturday night and the place was really busy. The manager did come to our table to say he was sorry our dinners were taking so long and since then someone from corporate contacted me about this review so I guess I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. If you want a busy place - this is the place to go to but ...Interestingly the comment from the owner is a automatic email generated by the corporate headquarters and there is really no one at the Yard House who cared to personally respond.

Eating here was possibly the worst meal I have ever had. The service and food were both equally horrible. The french onion soup was super salty and syrupy; completely inedible, the manager agreed with me on this. After ordering a beer, which took 15 minutes to get I received my entree. My entree the enchiladas, was ok but my friends who had ordered the grouper and the striped bass both had to send theirs back because the fish was undercooked. We had to find the manager numerous times for a variety of reasons. We couldn't get a water or a refill on a beer and the place was half-empty! Our waiter was terrible. The manager brought out new entrees with fish that was not undercooked for my dinner mates and apologized for the bad food. But when we received the check they charged us double for each of their meals. At this point after having terrible service and inedible food we were upset and we told the manager who did not offer to take anything off the check. Overall this is terrible restaurant don't go. For the three of us our meal was $125. Totally outrageous. I have had better service at McDonald's.

I had a real good experience here. I ordered the Crab Cake Hoagie which was good but I wouldn't recommend it because I liked everyone else's meal better. Their Ahi Tuna Salad was amazing. Someone else ordered another a Cajun Chicken Salad that looked awesome as well. Their burger was very good. The menu is fantastic and while it's not cheap it certainly isn't overpriced. I'll be back soon and will probably get one of their salads. If I had a complaint it'd be how loud it is inside. It's very hard to have a conversation without yelling.

The minute I touched down in Miami, my friends took me to this spot and I was initially wary. It looked like a cooler looking version of a chain restaurant. They kept assuring me that it wasn't so I took them at their word. They weren't wrong. We ate outside because it was a beautiful day. One of my friends had the spinach dip and the other had jerk flavored wings as appetizers. Both were tasty. I rather enjoyed the calamari for my beginner. Everyone kept raving about the chicken mac and cheese here and my initial reaction was "really?!?" They were not joking. Outstanding and one of the best Mac and Cheeses I've ever had in my life. They also had a large array of beers on tap. My homie, JG, recommended the Abbey 12 which I am now a fan of. I felt like the place was a bit pricier than it should be and we had to wait for a good 45 minutes but overall, a good dining experience that I would recommend to any of my friends that decide to go to Gulfstream to gamble or to shop at the nearby stores.

This place has a great selection of beer and pretty good standard bar-and-grill grub. My only real complaint is the music they play. Elton John and Simon & Garfunkle? Really? The Lite105 vibe almost ruins this place!

Sucked!! You'd think the people in this place never had training in the food business. The horse races ended and as you would expect, people want to eat right afterwards. They had about 4 or 5 people greeting and seating guests but NO ONE taking drink or food orders. We waited about 15 minutes before I asked the hostess if we even had a server to take our drink order (although I had plenty of time to memorize the food menu). She was very smug and unapologetic when she said they were short on wait staff and it would be a few mins. We eventually were greeted by a server who tried to make it look like she was doing us a favor by taking our table. Well...an eternity later our food finally arrived. I ordered truffle fries as a side...they were cold and tasted way below the standard of what truffle fries should taste. For $5 you would expect better fries. The rest of the food was very average. When we got the bill I expected them to be decent enough to comp the sodas or SOMETHING after we had waited so long and expressed concern, but NOTHING! That's fine. The tip was below what I normally give and I will NEVER waist time or money in that place again. I get better service and food at McD's.

i LOVE this place! The food is ALWAYS good and their cocktails are delish! They have so many options on the menu and its always busy but not in the way that it takes forever to get seated. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes. I had my boyfriends surprise birthday party here for a party of 18 and it went extremely smooth! If youre not sure which beer to get, ask to sample them...they give 2 samples per person!

This was the worst food ever! When this location opened, it was decent. I am vegan, said to the waiter and ordered a vegan burger--what do they do? Bring me a burger with cheese and avocado. I send it back, then what do they bring me? A BEEF BURGER!!! It was double the size of a gardien burger and then the manager comes out and tells me he "examined" the burger and said he was familiar with the product and it's gardien. I said I'm very familiar with gardien and that was not it and I'm also familiar with beef since my grandfather owned a beef factory! To top it off, the avacado was just slid off the cheese!!!! Then, after I got sick in the bathroom, he only took the burger off the check after insulting me as if I know nothing. This yard house has an ego and it needs to be deflated. Goto any other yard house but this one! Absolutely horrible food, horrible service, and just horrible in general! I wish I could give this no stars but one is definitely not deserved!!!!

What a great place! It's a chain which is a slight negative in my book, but Yard House offers an incredible variety of tasty food and drinks. Definitely an excellent choice for a group. The interior is nice, but I think the patio would be preferred by most.

Had an awesome vacation lunch here last week while watching the thoroughbred beauties parade around Gulfstream Park's paddock. One of the best turkey burgers ever. Efficient but not pushy service. Excellent prices. Delicious food. Wish I lived in the area so I could go back soon!

5 stars! Went their during the week and sat outside. It was late and we did not have to wait, which was nice. The hostess was very pleasant when we came in. Once seated my friends and I were greeted by a smiling server, Lorie? I think was her name. She suggested we have a sampling of beers that the bartender puts together, and it was just right. We ordered several appetizer portions that were generous enough to share. Another staff member delivered our food and was also very nice, it seems like a happy place overall. The outdoors area was full but not loud and we had some entertaining conversation with our waitress. We all agreed we would be back and make this a regular spot. TIP: did not know there was free parking, don't pay meter. Park in free lot. I never write these reviews, but felt like I need to share our positive experience. my GF and I are going this weekend to sit with Lorie!

I went to Yard House at 3:30, which isn't during a lunch or dinner rush. Our party of three ordered the hummus appetizer and three entrees. As a vegan, I ordered my sandwich without mayo or cheese. Our appetizer came right away and was delicious. Almost an hour later, we still hadn't been served our entrees. A manager came by our table and said it would be out shortly and apologized. 15 minutes later, I flagged down the same manager who said it still wasn't ready but that our whole check would be comped. I was glad he offered our check comped but we were all starving at this point. Another 10 minutes later our food came. Mine had mayo, which I specifically asked to have removed. I was starving so I ate the sandwich without any of the bread. The food was tasty but the service and wait was awful. On our way out, my friend told a different manager how unsatisfied she was and he brushed us off with an attitude and a swift 'Well, that's why we comped your bill!' Very rude and unprofessional. I will not be going out of my way to eat there again. The food was good but be prepared to wait for it.

We waited about an hour to get our table time we were there, but it was worth the wait. The food and service were great. But it did take awhile for our food to get to us. Definitely will have to try it again on a slower day.

great (applewood) bacon burgers, great mushroom burgers, great french onion soup and cheese and broccoli soup. I really like how the fries are thinly cut. The new york strip steak is good too. keep in mind that for those who have ID's from out of state, the manager will have to take a loot at it to check for authenticity.

This was not my weekend I picked the wrong place to eat..... The selection of beer was nice to see ,Im from England so its nice to see something other than Miller or Bud on the menu ...But unfortunately that was about as good as it got,The beer was cool not cold ...I know I know what your going to say ,But we now drink cold beer in England hey were all becoming Americanized..... We had an App 'The onion tower" it wasnt bad our table was near the bathrooms ,so a lot of traffic ok i understand someone has to sit at the table next to the rest room ...But on this occasion somebody had trown up all over the hallway floor the stench was bad and it took about half an hour before someone cleaned it up "after it had been tracked throughout the entire restaurant I had the pepper filet It was tough ,a very cheap cut of meat The noise level in the place is incredible i felt like i was in a high school lunch room i couldn't hear the person i was eating with our sever was slow ..and i was always looking for him the buses that brought the food t our tables barley stopped to put our food down in fact without doubt on one occasion the food was tossed down onto our table !!!! i looked up to get an apology from the bus ,or even an acknowledgment ....BUT HE WAS GONE!!!!!!! took my fork out of the linen napkin and it was twisted like someone had used it to open a gallon of paint .......

I would rate it higher than 2 stars but their customer service sucked! It started with us calling in ahead to put our names down, we knew it was going to be a long wait. We get there and was told another 30 minutes which was ok. Twice we told them party of 7, 5 aduts plus 2 highchairs. 30 minutes was up and they buzzed us, then we were told they cannot accomodate the 2 highchairs and there were no tables available. Hostess said that i made a mistake and i cant sit your party because i have a party of 25 to sit! At this point as i assume anybody would be pretty worked up. We asked for one of the managers,Jake , and wow what a rude piece of $4it! He says " nothing i can do, we made a mistake an we cant sit u down". My wife asked him what his name was and he replied "no whats ur name?" in very rude way. At this point, i probably would have ended in jail if i didnt have my baby with me! So screw yard house!

We visited the yard house with our friends from New York. The food was great, the service was excellent. The beer selections are pretty good.

My favorite local bar! Yard House offers an awesome beer selection, wine selection, and an incredibly extensive list of signature cocktails along with unquestionably, the best bar food I've ever had. If you sit at the bar try to find yourself in Lindsay's section. What a doll! She's super personable and attentive. The coconut shrimp were as big as chicken cutlets! They were cooked perfectly and came with a couple delicious dipping sauces. One was a pesto sauce which was out of this world. The Kung Pao Calamari was lightly battered and fried to perfection. The sauce was delicious and it came with my choice of rice of which I chose brown. It was a great combination. They earned the fifth star from me for my own selfish reason. Aside from seafood, I try not to eat meat, especially farm raised anything. Well, Yard House offers Gardein dishes ( WWW.GARDEIN.COM ). I've been pretty happy with the Gardein products I've purchased from grocery stores but I was cautious about paying extra to eat it at a restaurant. They absolutely pulled it off! I love boneless wings but it's been a year since I've had them since my conscious won't allow me to enjoy them but now thanks to the Yard House and the geniuses at Gardein I found an animal friendly way to enjoy some of the best wings ever! Keep an eye out for their happy hour specials. They have happy hour from 3pm-6pm Monday-Friday and 10pm-Close Sunday-Wednesday which offer discounts on food AND drinks.

Today we had a very good experience at the yard House! Our service was above average, to the point I did congratulate the manager!! Food, most people in out party of 8 thought it was a fast food beer joint! Well, wrong... There are several "healthy" choices.... I personally had the cobb salad with salmon... Quite good and tasty! Impressed! My fish could have been on the "rarer" side, but it was ok... We had a tuna roll, whixh is not a roll but a type of tuna cake with avocado on top... For my taste, it was missing flavor and balance! We also had the lettuce wraps which were quite good... Ice tea is fresh brew which was a nice surprise for me... The place is clean, big, lots of TV screens to watch all kind of sports and a huge bar with a whole lot of different beer... An option ton change from other places! We did mention between ourselves that the check was a little hefty though... Enjoy!

So I finally go back to Yardhouse after years. And of course I was disappointed again. Years ago while I was there I had a very nasty waitress who would only change the television channel if you were Caucasian. Last night I met with my best friend and our waiter kinda suck. It started raining and he never came over to see if we wanted to go inside or just if we were okay with the rain blowing into our food or drinks. There were even Managers who came outside and they didn't even ask if we were okay. To top the night off a man came in with his dog and sat him on the chair at the table.. I was done. I have two dogs and don't have a problem with dogs but I would never sit my dog on a chair at a restaurant , hell What was next - the dog eating of the plates. Very disturbing for me . I won't be going back .

A pleasant surprise! We decided to get out and make a day trip trip to Gulfstream Park for some fun and ended up here for lunch. It was Derby Day so the place was pretty packed. We had to wait about two minutes for a table outside, which wasn't bad at all. It was entertaining to sit and watch the the people walking around Champions Plaza dressed in all kinds of bold colors and hats. If all we had done was had a couple beers and watched the people, that would have been worth the trip, but we were hungry! I was pretty undecided on what to order, and every time I saw them carry a burger past me, it was hard not to choose one of those. They looked awesome. We started with the Ahi Tuna Sashimi, which was pretty good, but I still needed to figure out what entree I would order. It I decided to get something that I can't get during the week, so I went with the Carnitas Enchilada Stack. I had no idea what to expect after a recent bad enchilada experience, so I thought, "Why not?" The food came out a lot faster than I was expecting given how busy they were, or maybe it was just that we were having so much fun with our beer. Oh, I didn't mention the beer. OMG. Hubby ordered the half yard of one of their ales, and I thought I would never stop laughing while watching him attempt to drink that beast of a glass full of beer. It was the tallest glass I have ever seen. Well, it was a half yard...do the math. That is a tall glass. I had to take a picture of the inside of it when he finished, and I think I got motion sickness from that thing. Back to the food. It was delicious. It had a nice kick and the flavors all worked together nicely. The fried egg on top was a nice touch to it also. I was able to eat about half of it, before I was too full. Hubby enjoyed his a la carte Tacos. I think the Vampire taco was his favorite, and our server said that was hers too. I didn't try it myself, but listening to his orgasmic moans while eating it was all I needed to know. We both enjoyed our meals very much, and that is rare. Usually one of us enjoys it, while the other politely smiles and nods. We will definitely return here. We had a great time.

We love Yard House! How can you go wrong with so many beers on tap, great food, proximity to gambling....and most of all AMAZING SERVICE BY NADIA. Seriously, hands down the best customer service ever. The staff is always attentive, but we always ask to sit at Nadia's section because she takes amazing care of us. The chicken nachos are a great deal during happy hour, and you can't miss with the sliders!!!!!

Yard House is located in the village of Gulfstream Park. It is always a good option when you want to go out; but not really go out. It's nice enough to feel like you went somewhere but casual enough that you could treat it like the neighborhood bar. They have a great beer and cocktail selection. I myself enjoy trying the IPA'S that they have to offering and my girlfriend really likes their skinny cocktail menu; especially the vodka Mojtos. The food is pretty standard for the type of American Bar Cuisine. They have a few things on the menu that set them apart but I'll stick with the Hits. Burger and fries or some firecracker boneless wings. The Queso dip is really really good, unless you're lactose intolerant. Other than that, this place is always a good choice when your girlfriend says she doesn't care where you go to eat.

Great food. We had a great waiters who was very patient. My steak was a little over cooked but I like my meat pretty rare so for normal people it was great. The truffle fries are really just a snack because they are really small and a little too greasy. Would probably not get them again but the rest of the food was spot on as was the beer and wine selection. Great music and lots of tv to catch a game. Would go back.

6/20/2015- Wanted to come to Gulfstream for a while now. This was my 2nd time at Yard House and both times have been packed. This time we just walked straight to the bar. There were about 10 seats opened. By the time we walked over, we almost lost our seats. Our waiter Calvin was great. Very personable and available. The entire bar staff worked great together. We ordered Tito's with Club Soda and a splash of lime. They have a 6 page menu of beers, cocktails and wine. You will not be thirsty. The bar is right in the middle of the restaurant, right where the action is. We watched the women's soccer game (Copa America) and the Nascar race, which was canceled due to rain. I'm a Nascar fan! Go #4. I ordered 2 street tacos, a la carte. The Carnitas, roast pork, grilled onions, pico de gallo, guacamole, pineapple and the Grilled Korean Beef Short Rib, spicy green papaya, sriracha aïoli, chili threads. They are small ($4.95 each) but super tasty. The combination of the condiments were phenomenal. I want to try them all. My friend ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger with applewood smoked bacon, rum bbq sauce, garlic aïoli, sweet potato fries. It's a great place to hang out with friends or to go on a date. Although, the young couple next to us was on their phones the entire time. I would kill my date! hahaha.

Their selection on tap is pretty impressive, and the food is a close second. Went out to eat with the family and had a splendid time, everyone was happy with their food. By the time I remembered to take pictures for my review most of them were done with their meal. Goes to show time flies when your having fun with the family, will be coming back and tackling the stuff that's on tap.

I have visited the Yard House down by Lincoln Road so I was happy to be visiting a closer location. It seemed pretty packed outside so I assumed we would have to wait to be seated but we were seated immediately- great! Our waiter, Brenda, came with waters roughly 10 minutes of waiting at the table and said she would be right with us. She definitely took another 10-15 minutes to come back and ask for our drinks. We asked questions about meals we were interested in and she was helpful. After waiting another 20-30 minutes, we began to notice this was taking long! Guess we weren't wrong because the manager walked by and apologized for the wait. I got the southern fried chicken breast and my boyfriend had a lamb burger. The food was good, nothing I'm running back for anytime soon. My drink finished during my meal and It wasn't until dessert that I was able to ASK for a refill. I asked Brenda for a box for my meal and a menu for the dessert. She came back 10 minutes later saying she had the box and forgot it. I just waited 10 minutes for nothing because I didn't even have the dessert menu to look at to kill time. I got the mini creme brûlée which was good as well. Not my favorite as the French make their dessert better, of course. She finally bought the box before the dessert got to the table but what took another 10 minutes was checking out. We watched her charge us at the computer but then she took rather long there. I noticed she was multitasking because she put orders In and was carrying multiple drinks when she finally bought the check over. Drinks and food were ok. My rating is really on the lack of customer service at this location. I spent more time waiting then enjoying myself :( maybe next time yard house!

Not good! Customers for many years. 6 people , and 3 main courses was terrible and send back . Steak cold, halibut - not halibut and very hard like a chicken, wings not really fry and very oily and fatty, try to reorder, was the same. Manager was nice. But unpleasant feeling left.....

I came here for happy hour and we were a group of 7. The place was not so busy, inside at least. Some of my friends ordered just drinks, and they have a very extensive selections of it, and for happy hour special you have a discount on some items, which is great. The rest ordered food, and it looked delicious. All arrive pretty quick, expect from the water, that take a while, but the food was beautiful plated and everyone seemed to like, there was no left overs for that matter. Given the size of our table, our waiter was super good, and I must say, we did not have to look for our waiter once. When we left, outside was already pretty packed, and I wish I've seen it how cool was their outdoors before, they have such a nice view area, I'd rather have seated there.

I have eaten at Yard house before, in Coral Gables I believe, and was not all that impressed with the food. For my second attempt at Yard House (also during happy hour) I am glad I gave this place another go. The drinks were fantastic, especially the ginger mule! If you must try anything on this menu I definitely will recommend the VAMPIRE TACO. Seriously, it is too amazing to pass up. Happy hour you get one for five bucks, and you'll def order another because.....hello, the shell is even made out of fried cheese. (drools) plus they guac and whole garlic cloves. The chicken lettuce wraps were delicious as well as a starter. Can't say much about their other food items, because I wasn't too hungry when I came in. Overall, great place to stop for some quick munchies, and they do have a great craft beer selection/specialty cocktails!

I am always satisfied with the Vegetarian options. Delicious! I have only sat at the bar at this location, and the bartenders are all very nice, prompt, fun, and good looking! The Gardein Wings, the truffle fries, and the mushroom tacos are my favorite! A great place for vegetarians! I tried their Moscow Mules drink did the first time last night...delicious! My new favorite drink!

My newest passion! Wasabi spicy tuna roll with edamame! Margueritas will soften the spice. When you order it to split they say it is not big enough but believe me, it will confortably feed two or three.

I went here on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 15. I had reservations at 1145am as they don't accept any after 12pm. Unusual so maybe keep this in mind. I have very little negative to say about this Yard House. All was good. Service, food, location, and even the prices were decent. Service was excellent. Food was good and nice variety. Location in the heart of the Village in Gulfstream Park was ideal. And the prices were tolerable. Patio seating is abundant and nice. This is a popular spot as is always crowded every day of the week.

Yard house is the kind of restaurant/bar you can go to for any occasion: Happy hour, lunch or dinner, just to watch the game, just for drinks, family, friends, etc. The menu is extensive and has options for every palate. While they may have the usual bar food too, there is a huge selection of vegetarian as well as gourmet food options. They have great happy hour deals, but their regular prices are fair as well. The servers really try to accommodate the patrons. There is indoor and outdoor seating at this location which makes it fun to people watch at the Gulfstream complex.

I decided to go to Yard House for my birthday for an early dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately since the restaurant wasn't full around 4 PM. Our waitress was Cheryl and she came a few moments later to take our order down for our drinks. Food: for the appetizers our group decided on the tower of onion rings. When it arrived to the table it was cold. On top of that a handful of them were raw. I went ahead and brought it to Cheryl's attention and her response was "are they all like that?" Does it matter? After giving her a look of disbelief, she took it back and we got a fresh batch that were actually cooked and hot. When our entrees arrived the pizzas were cold and my truffle fries were cold. Not really sure what's going on with the kitchen but I'm not planning on coming back here again.

Went there on a whi,m while i was playing some poker at Gulfstream Casino. Their beer selection was amungst the largest i had ever seen. They do advertise that they have the largest tap beer selection in the US. I ordered the best Lettuce Wraps i had ever eaten. their mushroom lettuce wraps blew PF CHangs out of the water. I wish i had a bigger appetite to try other things.

We Came in for an afternoon snack and we ordered the chicken nachos. It is enough for 4 people. Good quality ingredients. I like how the menu designates food items with a U if they have under 600 calories or a V for vegetarian. We sat at a high top table in the bar. It is loud. Great service!

ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! We were visiting family in Hollywood, FL, and they recommended this restaurant, so we decided to have a late dinner here. First I must say the place was beautiful, we sat outside, and it was lovely, until we ordered our food. We waited a very long time for the appetizers which came out cold, with our under cooked food, at this point I would have usually walked out, but because it was a group of us, I remained quiet. The server was the worst ever, we had to have other servers look for him often, and he never asked us if we were satisfied nor if we needed anything else. The sweet potato fries were hard, and cold in the middle, I doubt they were even cooked. I ordered the duck wings which were cold a very oily, so I only ate one of those, some of the seafood dip we shared, a few of my under cooked fries, and none of the medium rare lamb burger I ordered, that was actually, an over cooked beef burger. Luckily for me I didn't eat much of the food that night because about 45 min later it all started. I'll tell you what in a sec. The sorry server never came back to the table to refill beverages, clear empty plates, or even bring the check. Another young man removed our candle off our and other customers tables, while we were still having dinner, HOW RUDE!!!, finally we asked the candle guy to get our check so we could pay and leave...... It was such a beautiful night we decided to walk around the area, which had some sort of event going on, and there were lots of people around. Then It happened.... I began to feel light headed, and my mouth started watering, at this point I realized I needed a restroom fast, then the abdominal pains hit me so hard, I could hardly stand... I thought OMG!!!! what is happening... I barley made it into the restroom before unpleasant body fluids were exploding from both ends of my body UGH!!!!!! WTF needless to say, the night, and next day were ruin. I believe it was the duck wings, because only my hubby, and I were affected, and he has an iron stomach... I am sure it's safe to call it FOOD POISONING, What an awful experience, horrible food, rude/lazy server, two days of vacation ruined, and for this experience I had to spend $88 needless to say I am pissed!!!! I was sure to leave the server a great tip!!! "Give better service" I hope he got the message. I wish I had known we were poisoned before we left the restaurant, I certainly would not have paid. On the bright side..... Apparently FOOD POISONING can cause you to lose some lbs...lol gotta love that I guess.. :(

Went here tonight and the service was excellent. You know what to expect when you go to this yard house. The food is consistent. They don't pretend to be gourmet, but if you order a burger or salad, it is as advertised. The problem with this location is if you try to got during season. For those that don't know, season is October through April when all of the snowbirds come down. Then, like many chain restaurants, it is impossible to get a table without a long wait. It's night and day.

Went on a Friday night and the place was pretty packed. We were seated within 5 minutes and 10 minutes had a drink in hand! Our waitress was great throughout the whole dinner. Appetizer: sliced Korean BBQ beef with spicy rice- amazing!! The rice is not spicy but has a hint of heat only. It pairs so well with the Korean beef For the entree: I had a Thai chicken noodle salad so refreshing and delicious. I had a small portion which was more than enough. The dressing a spicy ginger Peanut vinaigrette. So good. My husband had the penne with chicken. Penne pasta in Marsala cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes and chicken. I had a bite and it was also delicious. For dessert we had a mini lemon soufflé. Sweet, tangy and a perfect end to our night

I normally LOVE Yard House and there amazing vegetarians options but this experience honestly ruined it for me . I attempted to book a reservation but was not allowed being that after 8 on Fridays they don't allow reservations which the host on the phone explained to me. We were a party of 11 so of course I expected a long wait time on a Friday night especially being that we cannot save seats , that did not bother me nor my family what's so ever . What bothered and astonished us all was when our buzzer went off after 45 minutes of waiting and when handing it the host said "party of 2" and when we we explained were eleven the manager jumped in and stated "yes, they're eleven , we have to fix that buzzer" and make us wait another 45 minutes . This place is jumbled, hectic and very disorganized. I would recommend on a dead day but would never recommend to bring a family there .

Bad service, slow and careless. The food was just ok and too slow to came out. I went here with a couple of friends and a baby.,They had a kids menu too. Only really good thing was the location, in the gulfstream with big patio outside.

I love yard house and it's the only reason I come to Gulf Stream. I ordered the classic cheese burger and asked for medium well but it came out medium rare literally blood squirted out of the burger when I picked it up. My mother ordered the turkey club and specified no mayo and no butter on the bread. It came out with mayo and butter on the bread. My fiancé ordered the Mac n cheese it was amazing. Over all I have to say I come here often and 9/10 times its 100% but the last couple of times I've had some not so great experiences. The table behind me also had issues with their food. I think if you come on weekends you will have better luck than weekdays. I don't know why but that's been the case for me. Over all I have it 4 stars because I almost always have a great experience here and the food is delicious. This just happened to be a not so great experience.

I have such a good time every time I come here. They have the best and biggest selection of beer in this side on Hollywood/Hallandale. I generally get the the beer sampler which is great if you are in the mood for trying something new. Their strawberry beer is also very good. If you are not a big fan of beer because it's too bitter for your taste their strawberry beer will be perfect for you. They are a little on the pricey side but their food is actually very good. Their mac and cheese is delicious! So are their soups. In the appetizer department their coconut shrimp and ceviche take it out of the ball park! Their key lime pie and chocolate cake are to die for! The parking is a tiny bit inconvenient only because it's a bit far. Other than that I love hanging at this location. It's beautifully decorated. You can see all the draft beers around the bar and the kegs room is encased in glass so you can see how many kegs they have. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the parking and the prices. Def. Recommend this place.

If I remember my intro psych class right, lasting change comes in small steps. That , and the fact I have vegetarian friends and a fairly open mind, is why I'm proud to say I had my first vegetarian dish at Yard House tonight. While I will confess that I did backslide into meat and also ordered a burger, my palate's curiosity was intrigued and pleased enough that at the very least a new section of the menu has been opened for me! After an epic Yelp Elite event at Martini Bar upstairs, I joined Jacquelyn M and her sister at Yard House for a quick bite. I got in a little bit after them, seeing they had already places their order. What's this, I spy some BBQ chicken pizza! My eyes gave me away, as they asked me to take a slice. Curiosity was further piqued with her constantly asking how was it - I liked it - until I found out it was Gardein chicken substitute pizza. Done up with Marinara, the taste was deliciously similar to the meat one I'm accustomed to. Around that time, and thanks to Yelp check-ins, we also ran into Glenn and Marisol, who told us they had a table outside. Besides fun conversation with very cool people, I enjoyed their skinny truffle fries with a sweet slightly syrupy BBQ sauce and (sowwwy) but backslid into their BBQ Bacon cheeseburger. It was just so habitually good, well done and with cheese over the top...But hey, small steps! I will make a note of the service, as I see a couple other Yelpers commented. While at the table outside it was pleasant and prompt, with our waiter Carlos stopping by to check on us and quick with soda refills the service inside at the bar seemed a little rushed. I understand it was a Friday night, but the outside crew gets a bigger complement! So good company, tasty food and expanding my palate? Overall a very fun evening!

Yesterday was definitely my last time at yard house, the service was terrible, i asked for a soup and a pasta, the soup came out after the pasta. The pasta was horrible, i always order the same pasta, but yesterday it was covered with garlic. The service was so slow, she never came to the table to ask how the food was, i had to call her and tell her my food wasn't good, after all, we asked for the check and took her 20 min to bring the change. The only reason im giving a star to this place after yesterday, is because i used to go there all the time and i've had good service and good food there.

They ID everyone under 35....so they'll ID you at the bar, then ID you at your table, then ID you again just for fun. It's rather a pain in the arse if you ask me. At that point stamp people to get in. Strike 1 I also don't like to see any 'service person' or 'waiter' putting fresh lotion on their new tattoo that they got on their arm....especially while I'm eating. Pretty freaking gross if you ask me. And guess who didn't wash their hands after they slathered up their new tattoo and then proceeded to cover it up???? Strike 2 and Strike 3 My friend is also highly allergic to onions. So she told our waiter, [like she should] she ordered tacos, no onions, no onions in the guac, no onions on anything. If it comes w/ onions don't add it or she'll order something else. Our very nice waiter definitely seemed like he put that in, but when she got her 'street tacos' there was a mound of salsa on top with....onions and in the guac....onions. He immediately went to the back and got her stuff done right w/out onions, even though he looked pretty pissed that the cooks didn't head his request. Strike 4 for the cooks!!! Also, if you ever look up the nutrition facts on their website, there's not a lot of healthy options here to eat. Strike 5 What an experience. Our waiter was pretty cool so props to him.

Have gone for dinner twice. Great vegetarian dishes! Nice surprise with the "buffalo chicken " veg pizza. Noise level is a bit loud. Hard to carry on a conversation with others. Tons of beer to choose from. Would return.

Excellent menu options, excellent management, AMAZING happy hour. Half yard honey blonde is my absolute fave. Last time visting I had the shrimp ceviche which was spicy, citrus flavored and well balanced yummy. The korean pork belly street taco is a must try but my favorite is the kung pao crispy calamari, spicy asian sauce, candied walnuts mixed with crunchy celery and carrots on a bed of rice. SO GOOD! There kids menu is great also, my daughter loves there spaghetti with turkey meatballs. Food is either hit or miss but overall great place.

As always, great food and good service! We had the Spinach Cheese Dip, Korean BBQ Beef and Kona Coffee Ice Cream Sundae. All were delicious! Restaurant is very loud. Not a great place if you want to talk, unless you sit side by side at the bar.

In my opinion, some very simple dishes to make even at home lacked flavor in this place. I'm a big fan of rice and beans and I just don't understand how they can come out so bland and dry. The grilled Korean Pork Belly taco was pretty good, but the beef one was just lacking. The drinks were delicious, so that pretty much saved them.

Luckily, the great selection of beer/cider and a large dining space, can somewhat redeem a large food menu that lacks flavor and value The space here is nice and very large, and there is plenty of seating The beer selection is great, with tons of selections on tap. I personally love to stick to their samplers, good variety in them, and come with a nice description for each beer in the sampler. The waiter was great and even brought us over some small samples to taste throughout the night and was very attentive The food on the other hand does not match the awesomeness of the above I got the grilled Korean Pork Belly tacos, being the huge pork belly, and taco and Korean food fan that I am. The taco as a whole had just about no flavor at all, and the "pork belly" had more of a chopped up pork chop texture, as opposed to your usual juicy, fatty pork belly texture. Definitely not worth almost 5 bucks a piece, considering I have had better and cheaper from many food trucks, let alone restaurants The rice and beans had suffered a worse fate then the taco, as they lacked any flavor profile at all I nibbled on a few things from friends and nothing really stood out. The firecracker wings I ordered, had a good texture and nice sauce, and were the best of all the things we had ordered. Overall, pretty pricey for the food quality and quantity you get, and average price and good quality for the alcohol.

Pretty good bar with a sumptuous amount of beer varietals on tap - if you're thirsty this is the place to slake your desires with all manners of suds. The food is decent; my companion and I both had items off their meat-free gardein menu in the spirit of new year's resolutions and I was not disappointed, my li'l sliders tasted sorta like something of the bar-b-que. An earlier appetizer of Edamame was also quite satisfying. It is a little dark and gloomy in the interior but I guess that's how most restobars aim for when they're looking for ambiance. Very nice and genteel staff.

What a great place for food and beer. My husband and I had lunch on a sunday afternoon and even though it was very busy, we were seated very quickly. We sat outside on a beautiful afternoon. We both tried recommended beers from the waiter. Delish and boy what a large selection of beers available. We shared the korean spare ribs appetizer (omg .. amazing!). As our entree, I ordered the classic burger with cheese with truffle fries. My husband ordered the the roast beef. very satisfied with everything. I really want to return to try other menu items! delish!

I have been meaning to try the Yard House for sometime. There is one located in Palm Beach Gardens, which is closer to me. However, I came here after an awesome Yelp Elite event the other night. Be aware if you come on a Friday night, this place is packed. My sister and I arrived before the other Yelpers, and we found a place at the bar. We sat down, and ordered from the Gardein section of the menu. I ordered the bbq chik'n pizza, which is mozzarella, cilantro smoked gouda and bbq sauce (hold the onions for me). My sister got the "beef" sliders, which came with béarnaise, fries and pickles. She requested to hold the béarnaise because she is vegan, and this is a mayonnaise product. Our food comes out within a decent time. My pizza was just as I ordered with no onions and very tasty. However, she received slices of cheese on her sliders. She had to return it, and say again, that she is vegan and no dairy products. They took her food and remade it without any dairy. At some point, they ended up taking her water. Now she receives her food, but no drink. We had a hard time flagging the waitress/bartender down because the place was so busy. Overall, the food is good. As a person that understands the vegetarian and vegan lifestyle, I can make my critique here. This restaurant takes Gardein products, which are vegan and makes all platters vegetarian. There is nothing wrong with this per say. I feel like they could do so much more with these products. You can order it without the dairy products but then you end up with a plain meal. As a vegetarian and marketing professional, you really could expand your market base by creating more elaborate vegan meals with the Gardein products. That is just my opinion.

I've been here a couple of times, this place is a real cool hang/chill out spot... The ambiance is on point and the servers/bartenders always provide excellent service! The decor and lighting is warm with outside seating available. The food is fantastic, not necessarily out of this world, but it's REALLY good!

Went to yard house for the first time, waited an hour for a table while enjoying a drink at the bar, sat & waited over an hour for our food that was ice cold & didn't taste very good.. Disappointed, my friends raved & raved about this place.. Oh & $20 valet was a bit pricey, although I know the restaurant has no control...

Food - Ahi Poke Bowl: fresh and flavorful. 5/5 - Lobster, crab, and artichoke dip: seafood dip, doesn't get any better than this! 5/5 - Kung Pao Calamari: sweet/spicy glaze, not your average calamari appetizer. 5/5 - Grilled Korean Pork Belly: delicious!! 5/5 - Spicy Thai Chicken Pizza: chicken was a little dry, but edible. Still very good. 4/5 Service: No wait, food came out pretty quickly. Our waiter was friendly. 4/5 Final thoughts: Great food, everything was delicious! Great place to hang out with friends. Huge selection of beer. My friends and I had an amazing time! I will definitely come back. Pricing was fair.

The food was terrific and the location is nice. My only issue is we had a large group and it took them almost 2 hours to bring our food. When we finally received our food some of it was cold.

Usually decent food, ate here Tuesday night and GF got sick. She had the short rib tacos. Only ate two tacos out of the three and some sweet potatoe fries. Took the tacos home. She started being sick that night and is still sick now (3 days later). I examined the short rib taco and it looked like fatty meat, if you call it meat, but mostly fat. Gross. Just started coming here again too, shame. Wont be back for a while now if at all. I on the other hand am not sick, had to be here Tacos. Manager contacted me, moving up 1 star.

This place really doesn't get enough credit. Who doesn't love Yard House! First and most importantly, you can leave your car washing in the parking garage. Why is this important you ask? Well for someone who works 50+ hours a week, convenience is my favorite word. Do not leave without trying the street tacos. I repeat... Do NOT leave without trying the street tacos. More specifically, try the baja taco. Fried breaded fish in A tortilla topped with guacamole... Yes please. The sliders are also delish... Even the turkey ones. Anytime I am in the Aventura area, this is the place I want to go.

Best place in Gulf stream park. The place itself is very modern and clean inside and outside. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The beer selection is amazing. The food is great. And the service is always good. I have been here over a dozen times and will continue to keep going.

Food was decent - about what you'd expect from a restaurant along the lines of Cheesecake Factory and Applebees. Excellent beer selection. However, the service was terrible. First they forgot to record our beeper number. After about an hour we asked what was going on and they admitted the error and got us back as quickly as possible. However, they never offered any kind of comped appetizer or discount or anything to ease that inconvenience. I could have lived with that, but service continued to be horrible. We rarely saw our server, orders were messed up (wrong things brought out), appetizers that were ordered were never delivered.

I have been to Yard House twice in my life. If I reviewed this restaurant after the first visit, I would have given it 2 stars... I was on a second (and last) date with this curly headed dude and he ordered me a salad. You read that right, HE ordered ME a salad. I openly contemplated between said salad and the chicken strips and finally decided to go with the latter. However, when the waitress came along to take our order, my date took the liberty of choosing my entree for me and I was shocked into silence and never spoke up about it. The salad was okay, it was an Asian chicken kind of deal. It tasted decent and was a large portion, but it probably would have been better if it wasn't laced in bitterness and disdain. Also on that first visit, I asked the waitress for some beer guidance since at that time, I didn't have quite the repertoire I do today. I told her I wanted something pale and sweet if possible. I don't know what she brought me, but it was dark and bitter... just like my soul that night. Jump a head a few years, and take two turned out to be MUCH MUCH better. This time around I went with a bunch of friends following our adventures at the Festival of Souls that GulfSream had set up for Halloween. It was nearly midnight by the time we sat down, but our waitress was nice and pleasant and didn't rush us. Sweet potato fries were ordered for the table and they were served with some kind of marshmallow dipping sauce, DELISH! For my entree I finally got my chicken strips which are actually off the appetizer menu but served with fries and honey mustard / ranch. The portion was an entree size but the price was appetizer status. Awesome! And omg those fries! Yard House has really mastered the artistry that is french fry perfection. The chicken strips were seriously delicious, and at 10 bucks, you can't beat it! But what would a trip to Yard House be without a mug of some beer? Or a yard rather? The beer menu is extensive and there is something for everyone! They even have samplers where you can 6 small glasses of all different varieties for those who have a hard time deciding on a singular libation. I was thrilled to see raspberry cider on the menu, and my favorite, woodchuck. A strong 4 stars for Yard House!

Three of us had burgers and I had the Korean sandwich (Bami? - name escapes me). Everyone loved their burgers, but my sandwich was disappointing: too much bread, too little meat, none of the special sauce, and the warmish slaw side was funky and ho-hum. When our very nice waitress stopped by to check on us prior to bringing us the check, I related to her my disappointment with my meal. She returned with our check, and told us she had related my feedback to the manager. OK...so? Perhaps I expected too much, but the manager, being what he does, could have stopped by for a few seconds to inquire, or extend some kind of gesture. Perhaps his definition of managing refers solely to employees and the POP system, and not customer expectations.

I've been a frequent visitor to Yard House and I can say that in the area, there aren't many other places that are better. Not so much because of how good they are, but more because of lack of competition. They are still a quality restaurant with good food. Pros: They have a wide selection of food and drinks. They make all sorts of different styles of food from Asian to Latin and good ole' American. They have a wide variety of drink selections that can settle almost anyone's liking for a good beer. They have great servers and I've never been dissatisfied by that. Their staff is always friendly and give the best advice to what's good that day. I don't think I've had a bad server in all of my time going there. The atmosphere is good, plenty of TVs and wide open area. They don't crowd you or force you into anywhere and the indoor and outdoor seating is good. A couple of dishes that I would advise anyone to try is their Grilled Korean beef appetizer. I've had it many times, and it's great each time. Also their Petite Sirloin is amazing as well. Cons: They have a wide selection of food... I know I put that as a pro, but at the same time by having such a wide variety it can lead to be a lesser quality of food as a whole. The lack of a true theme, can sometimes cause indecisiveness. Their menus are GIGANTIC. I would suggest getting acquainted with it first before ordering. One small complaint I can say about this Yard House is that they tend to overcook your meat. I have learned to go 1 under where I expect it to be. I order my stuff Medium hoping for Medium Well. Anywhere in between is fine too. Summary: I give credit where credit is due. Yard House has a good selection of food, but it needs to be focused a bit. I work in the area, so the lack of other quality restaurants help Yard House. They are good, but not great. Considering that price you pay for your meals I can say that you can do a lot worse than Yard House. They have plenty of options for Lunch and Dinner and you can get plenty of food.

I went here last week and it was a pretty good experience. I had a basic burger (5 oz) with a salad, however the dressing was extremely salty so I request fries in place of that. No problems there.. The server was great, nice and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and upbeat, a nice backup plan from Duffy's in North Miami.

Pretentious and overpriced! Not to mention the hidden fee on your check for district improvement. The manager says there is a sign by the hostess desk, but you really have to search for it to find it...which is not by the hostess desk, but by the front door, to your left, which you won't see unless you are really looking for it. Why do I say pretentious? Simply because they add foodie stuff to normal dishes that aren't and shouldn't be there. For example, I got the lunch special of a roasted turkey melt and clam chowder soup. The sandwich included jalapenos...in a turkey melt?! Not needed and never encountered in any kind of melt type sandwich I have had in all of my life. The clam chowder? Overwhelmingly and overpoweringly filled with onion. Clam chowder should never have onion as its main flavor. And that was not the only example of the pretentious menu. My daughter had the turkey club and it comes with avocado. Avocado, like the jalapeno in the melt, does not ever belong in a club sandwich. Who really truly likes the taste of avocado anyway? This is a sports bar, treat it as such. We don't need shoestring fries in a paper cone resting in a metal cup, we don't need things in dishes that have no place or reason to be there. We don't need overpriced food and beverages and we certainly don't need hidden fees tacked on to our bills without fair and reasonable and visible warning. Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention...slllloooooowwwwww service. To gauge how slow it was, we ordered when the football game was in the third quarter and didn't get our food until towards the end of the fourth quarter.

I usually love yard house, but I went tonight and was kind of disappointed... Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen? I dont know. I had items that I normally enjoy and was let down, the chicken garlic noodles were overdone and bland. I had one of my favorite beers here today and you could tell that the tap was kind of dirty giving the beer a bitter taste. I will be coming back because yard house is one of my favorite spots, I hope my next visit won't be as disappointing as this one.

The food is somewhere between poor and mediocre - and thats on a good day. The crab cakes have NO crab - none - just full of breading. The hostess station is manned by people who refuse to make eye contact and it's just downhill from there. It is however a great place if you just need a place for a group of people who care neither for food or service - that's when you should go. If this place had one thing they do great; it would balance the other stuff but everything is mediocre or worse. It's a shame.

I stopped here for lunch and dinner while on a business trip. The beer election is large and outstanding and the food was good. It was not awesome gastropub type food but it got the job done. The atmosphere is cool. It is large with additional outdoor seating. The staff did their job but where not overly friendly. I am use to bartenders having conversations with patrons - especially if it is not busy. I felt like if you were not a regular, you were basically ignored except when you needed another drink. Would I return - yes.

I came to Yard House for a couple Big events Gulfstream was throwing. The place was packed both inside and outside on the patio. The wait times were over an hour (2 hours) so I opted to find seating at the bar and eat there. Me and my Man ordered the Seared Ahi Sashimi Tuna both times. The Ahi is seared rare, lightly blackened served with soy vinaigrette, wasabi and pickled ginger, was perfection both times! He ordered the New York Steak Salad both times Its that good! It comes field greens, roasted peppers, avocado, green beans, crispy potatoes, onion, tomato, fried pickled egg and Gorgonzola vinaigrette. The pickled egg was a nice surprise and the whole salad was very satisfying and tasty. I ordered the Porcini crusted Halibut , Parmesan mashed potatoes with Porcini cream sauce, white truffle oil, asparagus and Bok Choy. Soo delicious I had steamed Veggies instead of the Mashed Potatoes and I was very happy! I also Tried the Seared Ahi Tuna Salad the last time I was at Yard House. The Ahi is seared Rare, Field Greens, Asian Slaw and Crispy Wontons tossed in Soy Vinaigrette. It really wasn't anything special and I thought there wasn't a huge portion of Tuna. They naturally Have a Great Selection of Beer Here , but don't be surprised to not see any prices on the menu. I ordered a craft beer here and it was 12$ without me knowing. Happy Hour is M-F 3-6PM and Wed-Sun 10PM till close A Great Place to eat at Gulfstream I always enjoy the food, good service, and atmosphere.

YUM YUM YUM! Last night was my first time at Yard House and it was great! We had to wait 15-20 minutes for a table, but the weather was great and they had seating so we could lounge while we waited. I'd recommend making a reservation. When we sat down, we were greeted by one of the friendliest waitresses I've encountered in a while. Pretty sure her name was Kate...I had a few drinks, so I can't be sure I'm remembering that correctly! She made some great suggestions. My friends tried a few different beers and I opted for one of their specialty drinks, the Southern Belle. Delicious! It was sweet and tangy with sweet tea vodka, lemonade, and chunks of strawberries & pineapple. There were so many choices on the menu. They all looked really good. Our server was a vegetarian, and sold me on trying their Gardein veggie sliders. They were amazing. I'm not even kidding, it was like I was eating a beef slider. It didn't have the typical veggie burger flavor and texture. They were full of flavor. She said they sell some of the Gardein products at Whole Foods. I'll be taking a trip there today to stock up. They had a whole vegetarian section of the menu which I thought was really unique. I got the regular fries, but my friend said the truffle fries were tasty. I ended my meal with another recommendation from our lovely server. They have a few mini desserts served in a small ramican . I ordered the mini chocolate souffle. It was moist and perfectly cooked. The scoop of vanilla ice cream on top made it the most perfect dessert I could have asked for. So, I'll definitely be coming back to Yard House. It was a great night. Loved it!

It is so weird when you go to a new place for the (gigantic!) variety of beer and end up having an amazing meal too! The Yardhouse is definitely known for their beer selection, but it also has an extensive menu. I went with a large group of friends and everybody's meal looked amazing: burgers were beautiful, seafood was fresh, orange peel chicken was spicy and savory, pasta was al dente. I have a small weakness for grilled cheese sandwich, so I ventured to order theirs. OMG I was not disappointed. Amazing grilled cheese and delicious tomato bisque. BTW, number 2 on my list of favorite things to order here: mac and cheese! The place is huge but still, it's always packed so try to make a reservation if you can. It can get a little loud, but the good service and excellent fare makes up for it. And I'm happy to announce that the Yardhouse over at Mizner in Boca Raton is almost complete!

Yumm. Typically, I am not a fan of chain restaurants but I love Yard House! They have a huge beer selection and a fresh menu. Grilled artichokes? Bernaise burgers? Yes, yes, yes. On top of that, showed up at eight thirty on a Saturday and only waited twenty min for a table despite the crowd. Our sever was prompt and pleasant. Totally a fan

Huge menu which is something I am not a big fond of, anyway, a group of 14 have decided to go there. I ordered the Tuna Poke...great flavour and the chicken rice bowl was mainly soy in taste but generous portions of fresh vegetables. My wife ordered a filet minion and was very good. Our waitress in the end pointed loudly to the fact that they live on tips which was not acceptable to remind us. I would like to point to the fact that we are not obliged to pay any tip....it is just out of our good heart we pay, no laws to dictate that we should pay tips.

I went to the Yard House with my son Sunday afternoon expecting it to be busy, but luckily we were seated right away. My son order the Fish & Chips from the kids menu. The kids meal comes with a Kustom-Koolers, which is basically a soda with a flavored mix in. The fish was made fresh to order and according to my son, it is the best fish he ever had. He ate the whole thing. He later wished he had brought some home for dinner. They have over a hundred beers to choose from. You can order a shorty, a pint, a goblet, a yard or a sample pack. I ordered a Black & Tan since I don't get too many chances to have one. Happy Hour is Monday to Friday 3PM to 6PM. ;) They have a great menu. The only problem is deciding since there are so many good choices. Since we were here during lunch, I ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Blue Crab Cake Hoagie and the Spicy House Salad. I enjoyed both very much! The lunch menu is available daily from 11AM to 5PM. Overall the atmosphere is very nice. We sat outside since it was a typical beautiful day in South Florida. One thing that is kinda cool about this restaurant, is that it is right next to the horse track and if it is season, you can see them show the horses before each race. There are also plenty of TVs to watch the races and other sports. My son already asked if we can go back next weekend. :)

I think I expected too much. It's wasn't bad but it failed to wow me either. I've wanted to try Yard House since reading the reviews (accidentally confused it with Yard Bird but that's another story) and looking over their website. It was a Friday night around 9:30-ish and it was a packed house. We were seated just before 10 pm and it was impressive how many people were still waiting for a table. The restaurant is quite large. There is at least 20 outside tables and considerably more inside. The inside also has this huge oval bar that will serve food, so you can skip the table wait if you can find a seat. We decided on an outside table since the inside is a too dim for me. The beer selection is huge (as it should be being named Yard House). The food menu was impressive with so many options. There must've been about 20 different appetizers alone. Dinners vary from burger & sandwiches to plated dishes like pot pie & jambalaya to steak & ribs to pizza and snack foods like deviled eggs & hummus. They have appetizer salads and entree salads and even went as far to include a "gardein" selection (basically it's make believe meats like tofu and soy). I went with the avocado swiss burger. It was good, but not mind blowing. And it was smaller than expected too (the bun was too big for the patty). Fellow yelper Sergio F seemed to enjoy his BBQ bacon cheddar burger. Marisol F enjoyed the NY steak salad, which I enjoyed the left overs and would say it was probably the best dish on the table. I don't know if I'd go out of my way (long drive to Hallandale) specifically for Yard House but if I happen to be back at The Village at Gulfstream Park then I would certainly come again.

This place is a good spot and it has a wide selection of beers. Not much else going on in Hallandale so it's nice that this places offers such huge glasses and a nice selection. There is plenty of parking around it too and it is in the gulf stream.

My go to place, when not sure what I want.. Love the Baja fish tacos.. the surf & turf burger with truffle fries.. Everything else is good..but those are my favorites.

Simply huge restaurant with a very nice and helpful staff. even had Gardein menu for the vegetarians out there to choose from.

very cool and hip sports bar in gulf stream, expensive though but the quality is much better than other places so you what you pay is what you get.

The place has a nice vibe from the woodwork, the numerous taps of beer, and artwork. The food is great and who doesn't want a yard of beer/cider? The have a great happy hour menu. Everything I've tried has tasted great: surf n' turf burger, spicy jambalaya, truffle fries, sweet potato fries, seared ahi sashimi, and BBQ chicken pizza. We've celebrated various birthdays and they birthday person receives free dessert of their choice (I believe it's a choice of three items). The only bad experience I had was with the seating staff, they were not very accommodating to our reservation or needs. Despite that, the waitress was great and I love the food so I keep coming back.

We had a great meal here. It was my yeldest yit's 15th birthday and its awful hard sometimes to find places that suit both his diet and his grandparents, who we were sharing I guess what we could call "Linner" with. Too late to call lunch, to early to call dinner. Its Sunday, we eat when we are all hungry. Needed something that had lots of vegetarian options since they have both just started exploring a vegetarian diet which my 15 yr old has been gradually adopting eating since he was 4. I droped them at the corner and go park the car in the garage and by the time I'm in there they are already seated in a booth which I can only describe as the size of a NY studio apartment. It was huge, they gave it to them on account of his birthday. QUE LINDO!!!!! The place was hopping!! Wow, you can sit home on Sunday and watch TV and be totally removed from the world, which is OK because sometimes we need to do that, or you can come to a place like Yard House with a bunch of friends and get your beer on and side eyeball whatever games they have playing on the TV and have a couple of beers and some food and have fun. We ordered some beers (great beer selection by the way with daily specials), and some bites, like the Hummus with baked Pita and some Guacamole with Chips. OMG...the hummus was about the best I have ever had. I can't believe my son eat so much of it as he did? When did he even start eating hummus???? We were starting to feel full already. For our main courses my picky vegetarian had the angel hair with eggplant, roma tomatoes, gorganzola, pine nuts, and basil. He totally loved it. I had me the Ahi Tuna Crunchy salad which was everything I expected it to be. The youngest yit had the pepperoni pizza and kindly offered a taste to everyone at the table. Such a gentleman. Grandparents had burgers....they were awesome looking and there were no complaints. We shared a birthday dessert, the chocolate souffle which came on a great presentation plate with the word "birthday" dusted on it with chocolate dusting powder. I didn't have a taste...cos I'd pigged out enough on beers and picking fries offa everyone elses plate. This place had a wait for outside dining but if we were happy enough to sit inside it was immediate. The service was great, though at the end it tapered off a little when we wanted to make a run for it and see if we could make the last race at the track and had to wait a bit for our server to come with the check.

I've been to the Yardhouse before this visit, but not this specific location. It's a very big inside and outside seating space. We came on a Sunday around 5:30 and we did not have to wait at all. (6 adults + a baby with stroller) I mention this because a lot of places have issues with accommodation of parties this size. The waiter (mikey) was at our table quickly and took our drink order. Soon after they came with the drinks we order dinner along with a app. The app was spinach/artichoke dip and honestly, I have had way better, this one was to greasy. I order a taco plate...2 tacos, both were cold!!! The spicy rice was cold as well and the beans were not cold but lacked taste... Overall, I had higher expectations but wasn't totally disappointed. Oh well.. I won't be returning anytime soon.. P.S.. Contrary to other reviews I read, the service was very good and quick! P.S.S. I wish 1/2 stars were available.. This is a 2.5 star review IMO.

This is the second time I've been to this place and it's as YUM as ever. This time I got a lobster, crab, artichoke dip with chips and pita- very tasty. My main course was a grilled Korean beef short rib taco- it was simply divine, soft, tasty. I have not had Korean beef in forever so this was a nice treat, It came with a side of rice and cheesy beans. Plus, this place is at the Gulfstream so I got to go to the casino afterwards, loves it.

I went here on a Tuesday night and after happy hour it is expensive and not worth the cost. I ordered one glass of wine $7.25 a side salad $3 and Parmesan Chicken $17. It was overpriced for the tasted and the quantity. I was disappointed. I had sat outside though which is always nice. Total cost was $28.92--too much money for average food and quantity.

Great selection of beer and place looks good overall, has a good vibe to it. It is a definite step up from the local Ale House/ Friday's atmosphere. Food is ANOTHER story though! I ordered lamb burger with onion rings and could not sleep half of the night after. The onion rings were so greasy that I had to put them on few napkins to get some of it out. My friend ordered tuna steak medium- rare. First of all it did not look like a fresh piece and it came with a huge piece of fat on it. I am no chef but I sure know that raw tuna steak should not have a piece of fat that is about 40 percent of the whole thing. He sent it back, manager came back and apologized. So he ordered salmon instead. It was decent at best (flavorless) but he was not going to send back another dish and make everyone else wait. Service was not good either, the waitress did not ask once if anyone needed refill their water and placed the check on the table before we even finished (I do not expect this from high class establishments). I am not sure if I would come back or not.

This place deserves 5 stars hands down. It truly is my new favorite restaurant. So, you walk in and it's basically beer mecca. No freaking lie. There are at least 75 beers on tap! This is complete with an extensive, descriptive menu. So now I'm in heaven. We had a 20 minute wait for our table, so we decided to sit at the bar and have a beer. The environment was so fun and the bartenders were SO helpful. When we got our table we were seated outside which overlooked the casino. There were all kinds of florescent lights and a beautiful fountain. Our waitress was the best I've had in a long time. She was so friendly and knew so much about beer. She recommended Ally Cat for me, and brought me a few different samples of similar beers (she did the same with my boyfriend as well.) As far as the food goes, all I have to say is OMG. I ordered the mac & cheese (which I really never do at restaurants because it seems a little bland) but this thing was like nothing I have ever tasted. It was creamy with big chunks of chicken, BACON and yummy mushrooms! I literally died and went to macaroni & beer heaven all over again. I am really sad that the closest Yard House is in Miami. I'm hoping they get one in Orlando soon- really this place is phenomenal. I recommend it to every foodie and drinkie(er?) on Yelp.

Came here a few days before Christmas, and Gulfstream was packed. I should've known better, but we put our names down on the wait list, and waited. And waited. About 45 minutes into the wait, I went to ask a hostess how much longer, and she said that she didn't know. She barked that we were on the top of List One, but that we were on the bottom of List Two. WTH? I walked out, and 2 minutes later, our buzzer went off. Apparently, even the hostesses are confused. It was chaos. Our waiter was in the weeds, we didn't get our soup until after the entrees arrived, and we didn't see him again after our food arrived. The soups were comp'ed, but overall, the food was meh. The pork belly tacos were dried out, and I'm certain that the meat was pre-cooked, and heated back up...they were that dry. I couldn't wait to get out of there, and never come back.

Second chances are sometimes a good idea. I'm at Gulfstream Village all the time and today we wanted to watch the UF basketball game and grab a light bite. My daughter and I sat indoors on a Saturday around 4 around the bar. We were seated immediately and right in front of a tv which my daughter wanted. She had left her license in the car and the waiter carded her (shes over 21). I ordered a light beer and she wanted the skinny margarita. The manager came over and told her if she got her license out of the car she'd buy her drink,,,,that was fair! We ordered the lettuce wraps with shrimp, the ahi tuna poke and the chopped salad. Each dish was wonderful and tasty, light and satisfying. No complaints this visit. We really figured out how to order properly. The waiter Manny was nice. The three apps and a cocktail came out to $47. Not cheap but good quality chow and comfy booth to watch the gators beat Tennessee.

Great beer, amazing food but as of lately the staff and customer service hasn't been as good as it use to be. Tried to make reservations for a big party and were told they don't take reservations but to call before we come. When we called the hostess was a bitch and told us we should have made a reservations. Brilliant right?

Mediocre burger. Horrible service by Andi. we asked about fish of the day.. she said 'mahi mahi'.. i asked how it was prepared.. she answered that... i asked what sides it comes with.. she said brown or jasmine rice.. it was painful.. like pulling teeth. she should be selling it to me when i asked.. not the other way around. terrible!!

Yard house is always great especially for a group environment with there high tops or big booths. They can accommodate mega groups. I highly recommend the happy hour menu they have half off select appetizers and pizzas . Some of our favorites are Moo shu egg rolls, onion ring tower, kung pao calamari, slider, bbq chicken pizza and margherita and the chicken nachos. The pineapple express is very good.

I've been to The Yard House many times and I have always had a positive experience. You just can't beat the Happy Hour prices on the menu and the beer selection. This anchor restaurant is probably saving Gulfstream as most of the other restaurants seem empty most of the time. Inside is nicely appointed and the air conditioning is great.

Yard House has easily become my favorite go-to ale house "type" of bar. The food is phenomenal! Onion ring tower is a must try appetizer for everyone. It's ascetically appealing and delicious. However, the two ranch- type dips that are served with the tower are not as good as you would expect them to be. Lobster, Crab & Artichoke Dip is yummy, too!!! maine lobster, blue crab, artichoke hearts, four cheese blend served with chips and baked pita--- You gotta try it! Leave room for the truffle fries. They're the best truffle fries i've ever had, ever! Last time I was here I had the NY Steak Sandwich served with roasted roma tomatoes, melted swiss cheese, fried onions, garlic aioli and sweet potato fries. Incredible! the steak was juicy and tender, left me licking my fingers! My friend ordered the NY Steak Salad, which was also delicious and I'm definitely trying this next time but i'll be sure to have them take out the pickled eggs, so gross. Also, don't forget your ID when you come here. They're so strict with ID's, refused to serve me and when I tried a sip of my friends cocktail the waitress kindly told me that if the manager saw he would have to kick us out. Seriously!? Yes-- seriously!

I've eaten here about 5 times and had nothing but good experiences every time. I decided to bring my family here when they came to visit FL and we all agreed all our meals were outstanding. They have a nice beer selection and offer a late night happy hour Sunday thru Wed. I'm looking forward to trying their new location in South Beach

The place was very loud and had a weird vibe. I was there at 10:30pm and there were numerous families with young children, but the music was blaring club tunes and the waitresses were wearing very mini skits and more than revealing tops. The beer selection was extensive, and the Yard House's own brews were really amazing- their Belgian Triple was truly great! But the noise in the restaurant made it impossible to hold a conversation with the people at my table, and all the families around made it feel like I wasn't really at a bar either. The food was a delight though! The veggie burger and the seared tuna is not be missed. Not a bad spot to eat and get a good beer!

The steak salad and chicken nachos are my favorites. The chicken nachos are great for sharing as a snack between races. The beer selection on tap is excellent. I usually go with a new castle or Guinness. The hamburgers are also an excellent choice. This location tends to be busy so plan on waiting for a table.

The first time I went the food and service was decent. The hostess has a wierd hoochie attitude. The next time I went in my service was strange and made me feel wierd. She looked at me like I was an alien and was not friendly. I ordered something specific and they brought a different order. wtf? The salad looked gross so I just left. Maybe better luck next time.

went with some friends on a saturday night- even though gulfstream seemed a little deserted, this place was packed and hopping. lots of beers if that is your thing, fun, active atmosphere. food was good- had a fish dish, very well done. service was not so great. i know it was busy but there are a lot of wait staff and when they come by at first they are so attentive and nice and on it, then they disappear and you are searching for them when that second glass of wine you asked for is no where to be seen, or the truffle fries you wanted didn't materialize, oh wait, there they are, after everyone is done eating. not cool. so some glitches, but all in all, good food, kind of expensive, but what i expected to pay considering the location etc.

This place is really hit or miss. I've been there and had good food (mostly from the appetizer menu, all served hot if applicable) and good drinks. Then I've been there and ordered off the entree menu and the supposed-to-be-hot dish came out cold, was sent back, waited 40 minutes for a redo by which time everyone else was ready for the check. Try it, but keep your expectations low, just in case it's an off night. For the prices, I'd expect better.

Since we were a party of 9 on a holiday (Valentine's Day) we knew to expect a long wait. My husband and I went ahead of time to get our name on the list and told our family members we would call them as we got closer to being seated. Understanding that we had 1.5 hour wait ahead of us, we also got a back up reservation at a nearby restaurant. Within minutes of securing that, the pager from Yardhouse went off, signaling to us that a table was ready. We called our the other members of our party and told three we were good to go. We arrived to the hostess stand to be told that they accidentally pages us. By that time I had already cancelled the back up plans and the remaining members of our party were on their way. Ordered a margarita which was basically a glass of ice and lime juice. Politely asked the bartender to remake and he wanted to squabble over it. We were eventually sat in a booth for 6. Too bad there was 9 of us. They then had us move to another table outside. Everyone who ordered a burger medium-well received very, very well done and the ahi dinner I ordered was extremely salty, so much so that it hurt my mouth. We also thought it was odd that the 5 year old we had with us was never given a children's menu or offered the children's desert. Probably not going back for a long time. I'm giving 3 stars because the server was really fast and efficient.

A massive beer list that accompanies a large and extensive menu always makes me happy. Combine this with an indoor vibe of a comfortable, classy bar and you have a great place for a meal or a drink. My girlfriend's burger was huge and delicious and I really enjoyed my sushi selection. What? I got sushi and my gf got a burger? Hmmm, who wears the pants in this relationship? Anyway... Our server was fast and attentive and gave great suggestions on beer. I live in Atlanta and I'm pumped there is one coming into Atlantic Station.

AWFUL. One of the worst restaurant experiences we've had. Food took 1. 1/2 hours to arrive. When the food arrived it was cold and greasy. We returned the food Manager came out and we expressed our dissatisfaction. The service was horrible. It took so long to bring food that we didn't eat dinner. We left without eating and went to another restaurant next door.

My first time was last night for my cousin's birthday. We were a party of 24 and since they don't take weekend reservations, the manager came out and gave us an honest quote time. We were all gabbing and catchin' up so the 45-1 hr wait time flew by. They gave us two female servers who helped keep everything running smoothly and in a timely fashion, great Job to Jhonica. The other waitress...her name was like Rehaema (sorry I don't remember)..SHE had a slight attitude. I'm not going to blame her, we were a large group and for the most part, paying separately..Oh AND like half the table had their drinks re-made. My cousin and I ordered Pina Coladas--hers was virgin, mine wasn't. They tasted thin--like an icee; not thick and creamy/milky like other Pina Cs. It was as if they took water, ice and a koolaid packet that said "Pineapple and Coconut flavor" and threw it in a glass. The alcohol wasn't even mixed in; you could SEE the distinction between the alcohol and the drink. Needless to say, my cousin exchanged for a coke and I for a PINEAPPLE EXPRESS------THAT drink completely compensated for the icee it was DELICIOUS! They had half-priced appetizers after 10 so I ordered the CHICKEN NACHOS, the plate was HUGE and it was pretty good too. Best guac I've ever had! The restaurant is dimly lit, casual and active; it gave a really playful-sexy vibe lol or it could have been the alcohol. Anyway, I'd recommend it specifically for the atomosphere. If you can get over the potential animal abuse that comes with the horse racing next door, Gulf Stream Village in general, is a really pleasant and lively place to eat, shop and hang out. Next weekend it'll just be my BF and I for dinner at Yard House thumbs up x).

This place is great but pricey. What you pay for in proper quality (and quantity) of food, you gain back in clean cut sport bar experience. Great food, they always have "the game" on. Concentrating on drinks, what's your favorite beer? They have it, along with 2-3 other similar flavors on draft. The food selection really highlights this bar as a hip sports bar. You wouldn't be embarrassed bringing a date here, even a first date. They have the usual burgers, wings and such, all having their own modern and yet homely touch and feel to them. They have premium salads, and a nice meat selection to boot. I would suggest the "(mac+cheese)^2" you will be full and don't worry it isn't the normal Mac and cheese that you've grown accustomed to. This one includes bacon, truffles, grilled or fried chicken, and a few other additives that makes this once generic dish almost addictive. Go to this place! You can't go wrong.

Love it here!! If you want something thats a few steps up (actually more of a leap) from Fridays/Chilis I recommend you give the Yard House a try. After all these years it still is my favorite restaurant. I have never had a bad dish here. They have an excellent beer selection. I had the Coney Island Freaktoberfest and I highly recommend it. One thing I don't recommend is the Pear and Gorgonzola Flatbeard. I don't know what it was but it left me with a burnt after taste even though the flatbread was not burnt. Our waitress was Rosa and she was very helpful and friendly.

This place is a great place for the Aventura crowd. It's a good halfway point between Ft Lauderdale and South Beach located at the Gulfstream Park. This spot features a full bar and is known particularly for its eclectic variety of beers. I'm not too crazy about the food, although I did manage to enjoy an overpriced burger (kinda hard to mess up one of those). The bar's always cramped so good luck finding a seat inside. The outside patio area is nice as it allows for people watching and sports watching on one of several large TV's. If it wasn't so crowded all the time, I'd give it a solid 4 stars. Some would consider this a good thing, but I've never been a fan of the overcrowded, yuppy bar scene. If you're at the Gulfstream, stop by and see for yourself.

I'm a regular at Yard House in Brea, California but I'm visiting Florida and met up with a friend from Montreal, Canada who had heard about the amazing selection of beers at Yard House... so we went! We had already eaten dinner but wanted to hang out and chat over dessert and beers. I ordered the Brownie topped with vanilla ice cream and he ordered the mini creme brulee with the 6 beer sampler. I should also take a moment to mention that we had an awesome server named Corey [girl] who gave my friend the run down of the restaurant, explained the beers, made some awesome recommendations and brought the beer sampler to life. My friend was totally sold on the sampler from my own urgings but Corey really drove it home. My friend wasn't fond of 1/6 beers but found a new favorite in 2/6 and an old love in 1/6 - pretty good scoring for a sampler! It's Six 5 oz. glasses. The brownie was amazing - how could it not be? The creme brulee was good - a definite 8/10. Even though our order was small (2 desserts and a sampler) Corey took great care of us from 10pm through Midnight. I think I've turned my friend into a true Yard House frequenter.. I bet he's wishing he had one in Montreal!

Good place to meet friends for dinner! The selection of beers rivals most bars out there and the food is good. This is a great place to hang out with friends and this bar/restaurant has several tv's to take in a game. The location is great as it's right in the heart of Gulfstream so you can walk around after and the staff is always nice.

I love this place. The servers are friendly, they actually ask you what game you want to watch, amazing beer selection and great health food/vegetarian choices. The food was good and the decor (abstract paintings) are great. I gravitate towards this place!

I fell in love the day this placed openned and as soon as I walked in and saw the huge tap selection at the Coral Gables location. But am I glad that this one is at Gulfstream is open also. A little closer to home, but a smaller location, but it will definitely do! For the beer lovers, the selection is great and if you can't make up your mind you can have a sampler...If you end up liking one of the sampler's beers you can order a pint of half-yard of it or resort back to an old favorite. Food is always good at the Yardhouse. I have not tried one thing that I haven't liked. Food is amazingly good! Yummy yum yum in my tum for Yardhouse food!

We have dined here a few times before and the food was always just so-so. Nothing to brag about at all. Then the day after my 21st Birthday we went there for drinks and they said that they could not accept my I.D because it was expired by one day. I literally laughed out loud and asked to speak to a manager. I literally have drank here 3+ times without even getting asked for I.D and then the one time that I do they say no because it is expired ...by ONE day? The manager said that they could not serve me. I did not get my new I.D in the mail yet so it was really frustrating. We just went down the street and drank somewhere else. I actually asked police who were outside what my options were and they said to just simply go somewhere else. Which obviously led me to believe that it was not a big deal that my I.D was expired by ONE day. Will not be returning here again. Service was very rude.

Ate here last night. The food was good and our waitress Brittany was very attentive. Now the issue. My wife's boneless chicken was not boneless. I would have expected at least the offer of a free cup or coffee. What we got was an explanation from the manager that they buy th chicken deboned so it's note really their fault.

Usually this is a great place to hang out. The music is a bit on the louder end, but not too overwhelming. They have a great selection of food that caters to various diets including vegans. The service is usually a hit or miss. I've had great experiences here before, though at times it could be really terrible depending on who the server is as with most restaurants. The draft beer is what this place is known for though. Overall, this is a great place to have a nice dinner. Be sure to stop by during happy hour to take advantage of their great deals (Monday - Friday 3pm - 6pm and Sunday 10pm - Close).

Very Bad Experience! went to Yard House on Dec 30; sit outside; food was good, service was friendly; we ordered appetizers and entrees. since it was after 11PM, I did not touch my main dish: MISO GLAZED SEA BASS [bok choy, carrots and edamame over jasmine or brown rice]. I asked the waiter for a go to box; next day, when I opened to-go-box at home it was no sea bass! just some garnish. Be Aware. Check the contents of your to-go box.

This is my first time going to a Yardhouse and this one did not disappoint. Although the place was packed; we were able to snatch an outside table. The night was perfect for some outdoor seating , nice and cool breeze. Right away we were gladly greeted by our waitress, she suggested some good beer options that my friends tried. I opted for a sour apple martini and my friends also tried the express; which is a combination of a bunch of different liquors in one and tasted quite good. For appetizers were shared the hummus, the guacamole and chips and the ceviche spoons. Great overall taste, although the ceviche spoons were missing a bit of flavor. A great, relaxing atmosphere, good place to hang out on a Friday Night.

My fiance and I were staying in Ft. Lauderdale for the weekend and decided to come here since the one in Coral Gables is usually great. We got there for happy hour and it wasn't full at all. Great for us. However, somehow, in almost an hour maybe a little more than that, we only saw our waitress face to face maybe 4 times. We ordered water, she brought it out really quickly. We finally ordered drinks from the bar, those took about 15-20 minutes to come out, and she had sent someone else to bring them to us. They weren't complicated drinks and there was hardly anyone at the bar. We ordered a dessert, again that took a little long, and someone other than our server brought it out. I felt like our waitress had a difficult customer at another table and was hiding out in the kitchen because we hardly saw her unless she was on her way to another table. We ordered another round, again someone else brought it out. We decided to leave after that, it was like trying to get a celebrity's attention to try and get our bill. And guess what, she asked someone else to bring out our bill too. So, all in all, she only brought us water and was difficult to find. Oh, and the drinks that cost $4.25 at Coral Gables ran us almost $8 each at happy hour because she didn't give us house liquor. And since I paid for good quality, it should've had more but it was mostly ice and water. The second drinks we ordered were well liquor and also terribly watered down. Awful, I won't be coming back to this location at all. Bad service, watered down drinks.

Best beer selection and happy hour specials!! The food here is never a disappointment!! I've had the Nachos Gardein style and although they were half-off for happy hour the portion was still huge! The pizza's are also all delicious and the mac and cheese is to die for!!! 100 beers on tap can't be beat!

Have been to this location too many times to count. I have never had a bad meal there. Everything is good and the menu is huge! My personal favorite is the Mac & Cheese. Sounds so simple but it's so freaking good. A must try!

Loved the outdoor seating. Very relaxing, with a nice view. Only complaints I have are that my fries were not hot when they came to the table, and they ran out of the dessert I wanted to order. The wait staff was very attentive.

Variety of crafted beers. Food is good and Yard house is always consistent with service.

Although this review is long overdue, I have to say this location gets major kudos for being open only 2 days when we first visited and everything was near flawless. I've been to the Yard House in Palm Beach Gardens several year back and even that location wasn't as organized as this one. Since then, each time we've dined at this location, the service is quick and the food is good. So far the only item we were a little disappointed with was the artichoke appetizer - it seemed a bit dry/overcooked. But it was at this location where I tried their pepper jack burger and it was absolutely amazinggg. The Yard House is a great casual place that is a solid standby - plus they have Lindeman's Framboise which makes me happy.

AMAZING service! Could not have been more satisfied. Our food was impeccable, and the restaurant was clean. The manager, Heather, was fantastic. Extremely friendly and made sure our service was impeccable. There was a minor mistake and they waived our appetizer fee and gave us free desert. Above and beyond any other yard house I've ever visited. Highly recommended!

I'm originally from California, where locations of Yard House are plentiful. Yes it's a chain restaurant, but the huge selection of beers and decently-priced food is always a winner. Even if you're not a traditional beer drinker, there is something you will like, and it's fun to try your friend or dates' selection. This Yard House.....was awful. Sure the decor and setup were fine, similar to any other Yard House I have ever been to. The location was convenient; at the shops at Gulfstream park. There is a public parking lot and the area is lively- lots of shoppers, diners, locals. There are outdoor seats and a very large dining room. They play California/Old Rock type of music. Full bar and pretty wide menu as well. What sets this place apart is the awful service. At first glance you think great, it's a well-staffed establishment (it is quite large). After waiting ten minutes at the hostess stand without being greeted or helped, we decided to seat ourselves at the bar. Usually when I sit at the bar the bartender is welcoming and friendly. Wish I could say that here. Not so. There were honestly about 10 bartenders clad in black behind the circular bar. It took our assigned server about 20 minutes to acknowledge that we were sitting there (just 2 people, not a huge group). My girlfriend and I were ready to order a few drinks and a meal, we were hungry and thirsty and eager to spend money. Our bartender could have cared less. She spent most of her time flirting with the two obnoxiously drunk guys sitting next to us (and continued to serve them when they had clearly been overserved which is a hospitality no-no). We had to ask for every. single. thing. We asked for water, we asked for menus, we asked for napkins, we asked for silverware. We ordered beers, she came back 10 minutes later and asked for our beer choices a second time, we asked if we could order food and she gave us menus, then disappeared into the abyss or her smoke break for 20 minutes....in the meantime another bartender tried to help us but after the lack of service our appetite and thirst were still there, just not for this restaurant. We finally ordered food, received it and it was the wrong order altogether. (We had ordered a selection of street tacos which I had high hopes for, but they came out burnt and the wrong meat choices) I wanted to like it, but I hated it, and at a $40pp average bill, it was insulting to be ignored while there was plenty of staff to go around. Apparently they coudln't be bothered to actually help a customer....I won't be back.

Happy hour ALL DAY (once a week), massive TVs, amazing food and a great beer list? I love this place! I'm not in love with their location, but there is plenty of parking. The portions are huge and the wait staff is awesome! The only negative thing I can say is that the waiter switched my ID for my friends and we went home with each others drivers licenses. No real harm done, but it caused me to drive a bit out of my way the next evening. I guess it was more our fault than his. Things to go back for: Crab and artichoke dip, sliders, truffle mac n' cheese!

Total disappointment waited 25 mins to get the server to bring the menus, then another 25 mins to get the order, then another 25 to bring the drinks. Finally he got the drinks but mine was missing. The explanation was that they were out of the agave liquor. My drink didn't even have agave liquor in it. Anyway big big crack. Everything went downhill from there. There was no acknowledgment from the manager. Will never go back here

After eating in South Beach for the last four months, I was refreshed to find this place where the prices were reasonable and the food was great!!! I had the shrimp in vodka/tomato sauce with pasta - excellent. Not too rich and just perfect. I also added the soup for $3 more - and that was good too. All (three) of us enjoyed our meals and had plentiful portions. It came out in decent time despite the restaurant being PACKED. We sat outside which was quite nice too. We had the lettuce wraps and a couple other appetizers, all very good as well. The ladies room was clean and empty - just the way I like it especially with a PACKED establishment! Two thumbs up, when I'm out that way I will definitely go back!!!

Since I am not a beer drinker, I cannot relate to all the hoopla reference their wide selection of beers. What I can review is the food and service and it is pretty darn good. Being a pescatarian/vegetarian, I am delighted that they have a great selection of seafood dishes as well as strictly vegetarian dishes. It is always a headache to have to order "chicken and shrimp pasta hold the chicken". I will say that they lose points because the seafood dishes are nearly double everything else on the menu! Kinda unfair to the non-meat eaters. The atmosphere can be loud and the wait disheartening however, once you sit and order, you shan't be disappointed... 4 out of 5!!
